Mayne Fairfield 4ft Window Box - White - Durable Self Watering Resin Planter with Wall Mount Brackets, Plastic (5823-W)

This window flower box was a great addition to our barn. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the finish looks clean and well-made. Installation was straightforward with the included brackets, and it mounted securely without much effort. I did add additional holes in the bottom with a drill to help with water drainage. I also added corbels. It adds a nice visual upgrade to our barn window, and I’ve received several compliments on it already. I would definitely buy again.

I just had to take time and write a review for the Mayne, window box planter. Wow! What a quality produced product. First, I was finally, able to make a mental commitment to take the plunge and purchase them! :) But that was because I needed (4) of the 24" and (1) of the larger, 48" size...A big expense for an old lady to allot, from her Social Security money! :) However, I am sooooo pleased that I did. Over the years, we have incorporated a couple of other Mayne products; two (2) lamp posts that delineate the entrance to the access path, leading to our home and (1) roadside, mailbox post, to be exact...We live in a rural home, nothing fancy, but we have used these Mayne products, to enhance "The Bones" or eye appeal. They have truly, beautified our home. Buy their products with confidence! You'll definitely, be impressed, like me! :)

The planter is made of quality material. It is exactly what we were looking for to use on a cement step in the front of our home. We did not need the metal brackets that were included, and I think it would be a good idea if the company sold them with or without. The finish could be a little better, because dirt easily stains the finish. I used spray bleach to clean the surface to my satisfaction. I had to drill holes in the bottom because rain water built up. After the first season I came to the conclusion that I will need to drill more drainage holes to alleviate the excessive moisture. All that being said we like the appearance of the planter, and we're pleased with the purchase even after needing to make the adjustments.

This arrives exactly as pictured and at this point I own practically the entire collection— all the sizes. What I love is that you can match your planters and window boxes of all shapes and sizes and not have to worry about constantly watering in the summer. All of our units are configured with drain holes we drilled that can be plugged with the lids the manufacturer provides with each unit. I especially love these for window boxes as those tend to dry out the quickest. Some reviews will say these lose shape and that is true without the drain holes drilled at an appropriate level. However, we forgot to drill a drain hole in one of our planters and it bulged, but regained its shape pretty quickly after we added the drain hole and emptied and replanted the contents of the planter. I probably do recommend the window boxes more highly than the planters though, just because of the self watering feature being more important in this case. Installing them is also fairly straightforward.

Love love love. Not as easy to install as the video shows. But with all the right things we got it done. They look and feel very high end. I think they will last a long time

Love the quality. Durable. I have bought this brand 3 years ago and it faces west still dame colour no fading.

I love these planters, they have been planted now for 3 to 4 wks and the plants are growing like weeds. I do not regret buying these ones and they look so elegant on the house. They are easy to install, has very good instructions. The bottom decorative brackets sets the planters off to. As far as delivery time they were not bad considering what is going on in the world right now.

This 48 inch window box is both lovely and well made. We installed it under a window near our front entrance, and I am extremely happy with the product. It was easy to install and looks especially decorative with the addition of the matching corbels (ordered separately on Amazon).
