Really pissed. Was eating it for a while until I read that it contains milk (casein to be exact-the component in milk that is highly linked to cancer). The really try to hide it by saying lactose free on the front-which some people take as dairy free. On their website it says vegetarian cheese alternative which doesn't make sense because vegetarian people eat cheese and since it is not okay for vegans there is a very small market for this since it contains milk. Even on the back with the allergen info it doesn't say outright contains milk. It says contains casein (a component of milk). Oh, please. Trying to fool it's buyers will not make long term customers.

Tastes good but NOT VEGAN
Found out after the fact: not vegan. Bought at whole foods. Going to finish it. Tastes good (because of the milk proteins). But will not buy again. Trying to cut out all animal products and was mislead by its packaging. Lesson learned

This is false advertising- said “healthy cheese alternative” yet contains the most dangerous aspect of cheese- carcinogenic Casein. The American cancer society has linked casein with breast and colon cancer. This label must be a violation of several laws.The taste isn’t very good, but my kids put up with it to get away from dairy cheese at first then got used to it. Now I see It has exactly what we’ve been trying to avoid.

Not a vegan cheese
Not vegan! I was mislead but found out later that this cheese is not vegan. It contains casein -- the main protein in milk.

ALMOND CHEESE WITH REAL MILK ADDED???
Made me horribly ill. This is the stupidest product. It contains Casein, which most people who have a dairy allergy are also allergic to. My boyfriend bought this for me to make me a dairy-free pizza and as it is advertised, it does not contain lactose and is FROM ALMONDS. WHY DO THEY ADD MILK PROTEIN IN IT? Very disappointed and owners of this company should be ashamed at their skeevy advertising.
