Quality & Value
I have read with interest the other reviews of this watch - and I am at a loss to understand some of the less positive ones. This Bersigar watch is a heavy, beautifully-finished stainless steel model, clearly intended to closely resemble a more famous, (and expensive,) Swiss product - though it is not sold as a 'replica' or fake. This is a properly good watch - and looks great on my (reasonably large,) wrist. At 44mm and surprisingly heavy for an inexpensive watch, wearers of a lighter build than I might find it 'a bit of an armful.'The dial, visible behind a very good 'sapphire' crystal, is clear attractive and precisely detailed. The lume on the hands and hour markers isn't the brightest, but that's to be expected at this price point - the better luminous paints, like Lumibrite or, (the best,) Super Luminova, are ludicrously expensive. (A 'set of genuine Tritec Swiss Super Luminova powder, with two 5ml bottles of the special varnish you mix it with cost me £84 recently when I was repairing an older watch - that works out at £8,400 per litre!)The 'window' caseback gives a good view of the workmanlike SII, (Seiko Instruments Inc.,) NH35A movement fitted. This is one of the most popular mechanical watch movements in the world, with good reason - it's simple, well-made and reliable. In this application, it has no fancy decoration, (or even any engraved or printed branding,) which is fine by me - it would be unnecessarily over-the-top on this basic, but not unattractive movement.Case finishing is first-rate, with clean edges, polished sides and a smooth, even brush finish on other surfaces. The ceramic insert to the rotating diving bezel seems quality and adds a classy touch, and the bezel rotates smoothly and evenly - though, to be honest, the 'click' detents aren't particularly precise. The screw-down crown feels tight and bodes well for the watch's water resistance. The bracelet is excellent. So often on less expensive watches, bracelets are light and feel flimsy, being made from folded steel sheet - this is true even on 'branded' watches, such as Casio and Citizen, or Invicta and Stuhrling. On the Bersigar, the entire bracelet, including the fitted end-links and the clasp, is made of heavy solid stainless steel - and sporting yet more pefectly even smooth brush finish. I have seen reviewers criticise how 'sharp' and uncomfortable the bracelet is. This is surely a matter of taste - the edges of the links are certainly very defined and crisp. I quite like it that way and, having owned the Tag Heuer model this watch resembles, I can tell you that the Swiss original has an even 'sharper' finish, particularly as the centre lnks on the Tag have a deliberatly raised profile. To be fair to Bersigar, keeping the bracelet even and perfectly aligned with such crisp and sharply defined links is actually quite tricky. I will admit that it takes a little getting used to if you haven't worn a simiar bracelet watch before. The clasp on mine feels secure and fits beautifully, too.All in all, having paid under £100, (with voucher,) I am properly impressed with this watch. I own an original Seiko, (housing exactly the same movement,) which cost more than three times as much and to be honest, is no better made. Although I have examined it thoroughly, I have only had the watch a few hours, so I can't comment on accuracy, longevity, etc., but I have high expectations!

Great watch for the money; superb value.
Great watch for the money; superb value.Good points:Automatic movement -/+ 5 secs per dayHands calibrate well with dial markersNice finish and dial is sharp and looks greatThings to improve:Lume is poor and fades quicklyMetal strap only ok and finish on edges could be better as a little uncomfortableI swapped out the strap for a Barton Q/R in blue and it matches well.I’ll buy another from the brand, submariner homage.

Disappointing
It's an attractive looking watch, but the build quality is exceptionally bad even for this price point. The the strap felt like a very cheap low grade metal, which I could forgive considering the price. But the rotating bezel was so loose it rattled as well as being way out of alignment. It had to go back.

BERSIGAR Men's Watches Automatic
This is an exceptionally good watch for the price! with an NH36 movement which you will find in most Seiko 5 watches costing three times as much. This watch is a good buy.Exceptionally comfortable strap and clasp which I have seen on more expensive watches. You will not be disappointed!

A mixed bag...
The watch itself is well made and does a good job of looking like a familiar and much more expensive item. Decent movement and keeps good time, so that's all positive and certainly worth the money. The weakness is the strap, which is not up to the same standard. It does work and it's not awful, but it feels like a much more cheaply made item, lightweight, sharp edges on the links so that it does not lie particularly well on the wrist. If the strap was the same standard as the watch then it would be a four star item at least.

Excellent value and quality for the money. Recommended.
Very nice watch. Only had it a week but the time keeping is excellent + 8 secs total after 5 days. The bezel could benefit with the at being taken out and the lum is not very good but otherwise so far very pleased with this purchase.

It fits my 8.5" wrist
This watch is fantastic. You get a lot of watch for your money, and some.Be aware, it's a big watch, you need a big wrist. If you have, then this watch will be a great buy!
