I make my own pre & post workouts as well as veggie mixes. I HATE when I am drinking something and it has lumps in it. You may be thinking that it is inevitable with all the supplements mixes but… it’s not. I use two balls normally and it works great. I don’t have lumps and I can get it down faster. Most of my mixes are nasty and I just want to drink it as fast as possible. These balls helps. They are just as good as the ones that come in the blender cups. They are a tiny bit smaller. But you really can’t tell the difference. I thought they were the same size until I was washing them with a few of the original ones. They work the same. If you are like me (hate the lumps) then this is a great buy. Plus I always seem to lose the balls for some reason. They disappear and then turn up later on. Having extra balls are great so you don’t have to even worry about them. If you use supplements, you can leave a cup and a ball at work, in the car, sports bag, etc. This way you always have what you need wherever you are. Plus you can buy any cup that has a top and use these balls. They turn into shaker cups for a lot cheaper.Star Rating: When I do a review I always start out with 5 stars ★★★★★. These were a great deal and fit perfectly in a widemouth Nalgene. ..... When using a widemouth Nalgene, you'll have to push it in just a little. But that's good because then you can rinse your bottle out and not have to worry about it falling out... then just throw it in your bag or whatever.I usually have 2 shakes during the day. So I have 2 Nalgenes with the blender balls in there with the powder. When I'm ready to drink, I just add ice water from my RTIC. I could imagine if you had 7 bottles you could prep them with powder and a ball for the entire week... and not have to think about it.Once I get home and wash the bottle for the next day, I can easily reach my index and thumb in the bottle and pinch the ball flat. Then, with minimal effort, tug it out of the bottle. It really is a great pair with Nalgene. For that matter, I don't see why it shouldn't fit a widemouth Klean Kanteen, Hydroflask, or similar bottle... since they all have very similar dimensions for their opening. I've just never tried it because I like the visual aid of being able to see through the container to make sure it's completely mixed.

FYI: These are 2&1/4" (so 2.25") diameter (not 2.1" as currently described). Because the size is wrong/larger than expected, I have to turn the ball on its side and squeeze/force it into my wide mouth bottle, then later reach in to grab it and force it out. It works, but be aware the size is slightly larger than listed! (I'm guessing whoever created the listing might be less familiar with fractions of inches [understandably].) If you use insulated bottles (to keep your smoothies cold), you may run into the same issue as wide-mouth insulated bottles tend to be not as wide as uninsulated bottles.That said, these mix well. They result in a slightly grainy mixture, but it's a dramatic improvement over plain shaking or aggressive mixing with a utensil! It's not as smooth as with a blender but definitely easier with less mess!

What a great product!!! I make drinks all the time that require heavy mixing. In fact, I do it several times a day, but I get tired of having to stop and wash out my blender tumbler. Takes too much time! But to buy multiple blender cups can be expensive, Those blenders are $10-15 each. This set of wire mixing balls allows me to turn any of my existing tumblers into a blending tumbler. The balls are small enough that they fit in every tumbler cup and travel mug I own. I just need to swirl the cup around and it mixes my home made mocha or protein smoothies very well. Now, I can make several drinks throughout the day without having to stop and wash all the time. I can even pre-mix my drinks in the morning and make up multiple cups at once since I have multiple wire blenders. One washing at night does the trick, and the wire balls even fit in the silverware drawer of my dishwasher. So glad to have gotten these!I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased rview.

I ended up returning these because they were 2x1.75 and I need ones that were slightly larger. I did give it five stars though because other than the size they were great and arrived quickly. I would buy them again if they were just a little bigger.

Would normally give 5 stars for this, but it’s a little bigger overall and has more space in between the metal than the original blender balls (picture provided: knock off on the left, original on the right). Good knock off though. Works the same no matter if I’m blending preworkout or protein powder.

exactly what I asked for, I already knew this product would not be densely woven or heavy to the touch, but they work how they are supposed to and I only had to have them replaced once because the first shipment never made it.
