Works great and seem very sturdy
I'm having surgery and this will work great to hold my hairdryer so I can dry my hair one handed. So far I've found it to be very stable. I'll be setting the stand on my bathroom counter, so I've set it at the right height for me. You can see that in the photo, and also how I have my hairdryer mounted. Mine can with two velcro straps, as you can see I used one of the straps at the base of my hairdryer to securely hold it in place.

Helpful for when I had a broken wrist
I bought this after I broke my wrist to help me dry my hair. I was able to use the stand to hold the hair dryer while I dried my hair. Came in very handy as it was sturdy and held the hairdryer well. Be careful not to set it on anything to high just in case it would fall over.

Ok but not sturdy
I purchased this to aid while I was in hand/thumb short arm cast. I also purchased a light weight hair dryer. This worked ok but easily tipped over when hair dryer was attached. I was able to use somewhat when I used an additional piece of velcro and fastened it to a towel bar next to bathroom sink and counter area. Could be used for travel but can very easily tip over.

Falls over easily, rods don't screw tight so just spin, hair dryer falls out all the time
I don't recommend this product. It is very poor quality and not worth the money. The stand falls over very easily, the rods for the stand just spin around and won't tighten, and the hair dryer falls out all the time. I ended up buying a different hair dryer stand. This is worthless, although I did figure out a workaround: I put my 2 barbells (8 lbs each) on the base of the stand to hold it down, and I put duct tape to tape my hair dryer to the stand, and that worked to get me through my hair styling session. But I shouldn't have to do that. I like the different hair dryer stand that I got better.

Deserves 10 Stars!
I read reviews of several brands of this type of product with very negative reviews. This particular product had many reviews, good and bad. I ordered knowing that I could easily return it if dissatisfied. After receiving it I understood why there were so many negative reviews. The key is in the weight of the blow dryer. A heavy one is not going to work. It may be too heavy to stay on the grabber clip. I have a small, white Conair 1875. It is light weight and stays on perfectly. In order for it to blow down on my hair, I place it on a box and extend the pole fully. Don’t let it blow directly on your hair, as I did the first time, you’ll look like a scarecrow.Good luck!

Very hard to stabilize
I bought this because I was having shoulder surgery aWay to still do my hair! It holds the blow dryer but kept falling forward so I had to prop it up against the wall on the sink for an order for it to work it did work. But then I realized I had a blow dryer brush and I can use in one hand and works way better.

Quality for the price
Ecellent quality and easy to put together. I'm impressed with how well this was made. I bought this to help free my hands while grooming my dog. I'll be able to use on myself as well. The stand stretches long enough.
