Fantastic bit of kit make great music

Put this in my shed, where I keep a few rabbits, and had been struggling to keep the fly's away. Had this in a week now, and its been zapping away on timer during the day, and has killed loads, with the removal catch tray filling up nicely. It runs silent, but obviously the fly's get zapped, which can be a bit nosey. My rabbits have got used to it, and i'm sure would rather have the noise of fly zapping, than the flies. As the week has gone on, its killed so many, that I trust it will soon be down to just the occasional zap, as the fly population is decimated. The only suggestion would be to have an option of a chain included, to attach to the pop up connectors, to make it easier if you want to hang it up. (I've used some string for now)

Great Service and great delivery in these dodgy times - arrived two days ahead of date notified. I have patio doors out onto a huge garden and when the weather is nice, I always have the doors open - BUT that meant I always got inundated and had a living room full of flies - hate them! and tried everything to get rid of them, but to no avail - UNTIL NOW! It took a day to settle - but after that, we have really enjoyed leaving the patio doors open - and although the flies do still try to come in, they dont hang around for long at all before they either fly right out again or get fried .. it's flippin brilliant! :-D

This is a very effective easy to use fly killer, that is ready to go, just slide the little tray into the bottom of the unit, plug in, and go. Just make sure that it's not competing too heavily with other light sources. Not all fly's that are zapped end up in the provided tray. So you will need to vac the area around unit for any that have strayed. It's not my first choice of tactic in removing fly's. I don't like killing them, but after exhausting other options I turned to this and though I don't feel good about my actions, it certainly does the Job.

The light on the top bulb stopped working after one day. Even before that it wasn’t very effective, it didn’t attract flies as I thought it would - they just flew around it! I returned the item due to the faulty bulb and the customer service was shocking - they wouldn’t refund the £9 I spent on delivery, despite them writing in their returns policy that they refund postage if faulty! Very annoying!

I thought that these machines actually attracted the flies with the blue light. This one ,at least, doesn't seem to. It does work, but seemingly only when a fly inadvertently flies into it.

Only thing negative I've got to say is that the plug lead is to short would of been 5* if this was longer. Bit it does its job can't complain good value for money too worth paying that extra couple of quid for double the area covered. X

Das Gerät hat einen Netzstecker, der nicht in eine deutsche Steckdose passt (muss wohl was britisches sein). Warum das von Amazon Deutschland angeboten wird, ist mir unklar. Hinzu kommt, dass an dem Stecker kein Schutzkontakt vorgesehen und beschaltet ist, was bei dieser Geräteklasse auch mehr als fragwürdig ist.
