Sheet steel? This is a must have tool
Building a new post frame garage and cutting the ribbed steel by hand was not a very pleasant experience. I searched online for a few different items to help facilitate the ease of cutting the ribbed steel. Stumbled upon a few different video's, many of which they were using a similar tool. So after several different options I was looking at, came across the Metabo/Hitachi nibbler. Shipping was fairly quick the tool actually made it to me before the missing steel did. The instructions are fairly clear on the operation, however you really just have to get the tool in your hand and just use it. It takes a bit to get use to as it is not like a straight line cutting tool. As with any thing else the more that you use the tool the better that you are in controlling it. The cuts are very clean, the only down side that I have seen is that it really likes to make a mess with the nibblets. It cuts little half moon shapes consistently, would not advise wearing shoes so as not to get the little pieces of steel in digging into your foot. Overall good little tool. Fast shipping from Amazon. We will see how well it hold up to the use

Works well, would buy again
It works very well and moved easily through 26ga pro rib steel. Maybe not quite as nice as the red brand but not much different and all my tools are green. Having now used it on a couple barns, I would buy it again. I’m happy with it.

Good for 29g 3’ wide roof metal
Works great. Used for cutting 3’ wide roof/siding metal. Purchased dewalt battery adapter separately and tool works flawlessly

Easily chews through 16 gauge galvanized
Im a union sheet metal worker. Ordered these because I already have a handful of Metabo HPT tools at home. I brought these to our shop for the day give them a quick test. They chew through 16 gauge galvanized sheets like a hot knife through butter. Glad I found these for $100. I was planning on getting the Milwaukee m12 nibblers for 3.5x the price.
