Size:xl I have been told that all I do is live, breath and think dog training and in a way I guess that’s true. A few months ago I woke up in the middle of the night and when I couldn’t sleep, I started to think about a better way to design a leash to work with a prong collar and a backup collar. The result was Leerburg’s patented Prong Collar Leash.

Sturdy Training Collar
I've been using this collar for a couple months now and am glad I purchased from Leerburg. Other dogs at my obedience class had cheap prog collars that allowed the collar to fall apart. It also didn't help that their collars weren't sized properly. Be sure to checkout the Leerburg website for specific direction on how to size your dog for this collar.My only discrepancy with this collar is that there was an error in the chain that connects to the leash. In the picture the chain loops through both sides of the prong collar. The ring on the far right is where you connect the leash. In the picture this chain is laying flat and in a proper circle. However the chain on my collar is twisted so that it takes more effort for the collar to give a correction and is slower to loosen. It's almost not worth mentioning and does not really change the operation of the collar. I just thought I would give a thorough review. For this manufacturing error I have taken one star away.

Good Quality product
I agree with a previous poster that this is a well made item. I had a different brand one that would fall off when my dog shook her head. The prongs of this one fit together well and there is no chance of it falling off. The item is of superior quality to the previous one which was lost one time when it fell off. This was also the least expensive one. I would buy it again, but don't think I will need to.

Thought I harsh at first but one gentle remind to start and then once collar on the dog is in full work mode

I received my prong collar really fast! I thought ...
I received my prong collar really fast! I thought it would arrive later, but it didn't.I have a 2 YO german shephard and I bought the large one prong and it fits very well, in fact I had to remove one link. I thought it wouldn't work on my GSD and that I had to buy extra links, but that wasn't the case.

Great prong collar
Very well made and just the right size for my dog after I removed 2 links. The prongs are not sharp at all.
