This is the first time I have ever had a cat. Usually, I am a dog person but as I grew older and retired, I did not want to get another dog after my last one died of old age. So cleaning out litter boxes was a new chore for me. The smaller handled scooper I had got me a little too close to the litter I was removing. This long handled one is perfection. It is extremely sturdy, easy to clean and I am not so close to the waste as I shovel it out of the litter box. The only thing on my wishlist now is another one made this same way except it is a rake. That will make it easier to pile up the waste without having to sift the whole litter box before shoveling it away for disposal. Highly recommend this well made litter scooper-shovel.

Good size. Well designed. On the heavier side - which feels durable. The length of the handle is nice as is the actual dimensions of the scoop. Don't get hit on the head with this - it hurts. Else, great when used for scooping poop - oh, and it's easy to clean - the grooves are a scrubable size - Thumbs up.

I liked this scoop for a few years. It just broke this morning after almost five years of use. I hadn't been planning on having to replace it, so even though it lasted a while, I am still disappointed. It made a clicking noise and now it won't telescope; the handle is loose. It still works as a short handled scoop, but I will be replacing it with another brand.

This scooper is surprisingly sturdy. I wasn’t sure if I would like it because I was afraid it would be a little flimsy at the join. I didn’t need to worry though. It goes together quickly and is long enough for me to stand and scoop (I’m 5’ 7”) without bending or stooping. The scoop itself (the part that does the sifting) is also nicely sized and lightweight. You can get a really deep shovel and it shakes well. The litter falls through the slots without any issues and the solids stay put to dispose. I’m able to get a lot more solids with this scoop than with my old one so the job is faster overall. I love that my nose is no longer in the box. No more breathing litter dust clouds when scooping—totally worth the price of admission right there. Things I wish were better: This one is personal to me but I wish the handle was ergonomic. I have carpel tunnel in both hands and the amount of waste this can pick up is impressive but also heavy. My hands aren’t up to the task to do it single handed some days. It would also be nice if it had some sort of box or container to store it in, sort of like a toilet brush holder. Everyone needs a toilet brush but no one wants to see it displayed in the bathroom. Overall I’m completely impressed and happy I picked this up. I’m also mad at myself for not doing it a long time ago! I’ve been scooping boxes with a small scoop for six long years! 😂

Game changer for scooping especially when it is stuck to the bottom. Those old plastic ones we used previously would eventually bend at the handle under too much stress. Very well made, I imagine I will never have to buy another.

this is the sturdiest scooper I have ever had , the fact that I can scoop the litter-box while standing is a super bonus! Being made of metal is great and easy to wash.the fact that it can be short or long is great.

Top quality.

The scoop’s metal construction is sturdy and the scoop does a good job of picking up litter but when the handle is extended, the extension connection loosens while scooping so you have to keep stopping to tighten it. So not very useful. A little longer would be more comfortable too.

Diese Schaufel ist grandios. Ich habe sie für die großen Hopp-In-Katzenklos bei mir zuhause gekauft und verwende feinsandige Klumpstreu. Die Schaufel ist sehr leicht. Der gepolsterte Griff liegt gut in der Hand. Die Arretierung für die Stiellänge lässt sich leicht auf und zu schrauben. Mit der Schaufel und der Hebelwirkung durch den langen Stiel lassen sich besonders große Klumpen einfach in den Eimer befördern. In unserer Tierauffangstation vewenden wir Holzpellets als Streu in besonders großen Klos. Wer diese Pellets nicht kennt, sie zerfallen bei Kontakt mit Urin zu feinem Holzmehl. Mit der Schaufel kann man die gebrauchte Streu - das Holzmehl - leicht in einen Eimer sieben und die sauberen Holzpellets wieder zurück ins Klo tun.

El material muy resistente y por su tamaño, resulta muy práctico en su uso.

I do like this shovel because it helps me avoid stooping down to clean out three litter boxes on a regular basis. The shovel is sturdy and easy to use. I must say that it's a little pricey but does a good job.
