Does the Sherpa pink salt contain iodine?

Sea salts have trace amounts of a great many minerals, so it probably has trace amounts of iodine also, but not enough to rely on it. Iodized table salt also may not provide enough. I saw plenty of Nepalis with goiter when trekking the Himalayas in 1985. Seaweed greatly concentrates iodine, so certain seaweeds (know the source) can provide RDA amounts. If you believe you need more (I do. Read Brownstein's book Iodine: Why You Need It), then buy Lugol's solution or Biomax Iodoral. Brownstein says 6 to 50 mg/day of iodine + iodide (in Lugol's ratio).

If I'm replacing regular table salt that would be used in recipes and in a salt shaker, should I purchase the extra fine or just the fine grade?

I’ve only used the extra fine grind, but I find that it comes out of the shaker too quickly and I end up getting too much salt. I love this brand and type of salt but don’t want too much of it on my food.  I’m going to try the fine grade next. Good luck!
I also use it for salt water gargles. It’s great!
