Definitely heavy-duty, and sharp
- Excel makes super blades for "Hobby Knives" My favorites are these, and the #25 (convex, with a shaped pointed tip). I'd get a pack of 100 of these if I could. - Seriously, these, I've used these to carve things like Gabon Ebony, and Bloodwood, so they also work on woods like Maple and Walnut. - These well-designed and well-made concave blades might be a bit specialized for "everyday" use, but for undercutting, rounding, and smoothing edges, including edges of openings into objects/surfaces, they're super! They stay sharp through a lot of use, and the edge can be "touched up" a few times with a superfine sharpening stone to extend their life. They're certainly *sturdy* enough to tolerate it. The tip is also shaped such that it's very good for scoring and other types of detailing.

Good product.
This is a nice shape for a utility blade. It works well for cutting stitches as well as cutting. It is a little big for sewing stitches but would work well on larger auto upholstery size stitches. I ended up giving my blades to my husband. He likes them. I need something a bit smaller for my sewing. The search continues for one that fits my favorite handle.

You'll have to practice with the angle if you've not used these before
These blades aren't easy to find, so I was glad to source them here. They use the industrial-size handle (the big honker, not the standard slim craft knife handle), so make sure you've got the right handle ready to go. If you haven't used this style before, practice the cutting angles or you'll not be happy with the results. Once you master it, it's a great detail knife.

These are for the chunky blade handles
These were intended for my standard brass exacto style handle but these blades need to be more clearly marked for the big chonk handle craft knives. I kept these and gave them to my sister but found out later she had the same issue not having the specific handle for these. Merp.

These are fine blades.
Thought these would be better for leather work. Just doesn't beat the no. 11. It has it's uses, does what it says , and why it gets 5 stars.
