My cats have been eating Halo for years rotating with Freedom chicken dry and wet food. I discovered it years ago when a local Petco was clearancing it out and I got it for dirt cheap. My kitties gobbled it up like candy - but then I couldn’t find any more in stores except from Amazon or Chewy. Amazon prices are better and it’s less of a splurge for the babies - quality is great - kibble is easier to eat (small, flat, 3 pt star shaped) - and mostly I love the fact that they don’t use any unhealthy animal meals as fillers like most all the other brands do. I do notice when they eat Halo there is almost no puking, which seems to be more common when they eat other brands of dry food (Blue Freedom and Wilderness lines, Merrick, Acana etc).

The quality of this brand is excellent, the first ingredient is chicken! Theres no meal fillersand my cats LOVE the taste! They dont get bad upset stomachs and no diarrhea! Everytime it comes in the box my cats know what it is and are always excited when it arrives! Cant say enough good things about this brand! LOVE IT!

After years of spending frugally on dog and cat food, but spending so much more during the year at the Vet's office, I have finally learned that if I put in the research and spend the money on good food for my furbrats, I spend way less at the Vet's office. Knock on wood, we have averaged over the past few years since this discovery only needing to see the Vet once a year for annual exams and shots. This is incredibly cheaper and different than in the past. I bought this brand after doing research because my finicky fat ass cat was throwing up all other cat food we gave him. The vet said it was behavioral, so we set out to correct the behavior and try to figure out what he was trying to tell us. Right from the first open bag, his interest was piqued. We alternate in an effort to try to control his weight (he's almost 30 lbs.) by giving him wet food every other day. Not only has he almost completely stopped throwing up, but he loves this food and believe it or not it appears that he is actually pooping less, which in my mind means he is absorbing more nutrients and expelling less bad. Now, the only complaint I have (if you could call it that) is if this food were clinically trialed and evaluated by AAFCO and contained their highest statement and recommendation. That way I could even more confidently show my Vet what I already feel is the truth and that this food is good stuff.

My cats regularly eat Simply Nourish® Original Cat Dry Food - Chicken & Pea, Natural, Grain Free. They love this food, I wanted to add another type of food to it for a variety for them. I purchased this Halo, grain free chicken dry cat food, added it into the box that I keep their other food in, and mixed it in really well. Then I gave them some of the mixed combination. They loved this food! They were pushing their other food out of the way to get to this food! I have noticed less vomiting's, and their fur coats are so soft! I have 4 cats, they all like it! Also, everything in the litter box looks good too!

We have been using this for about 3 years now. I started buying this because it has no grain in it. Cats are strictly meat eaters and have a hard time digesting grain of any kind. At the time I started with this, I had an old kitty that was always up chucking her dry food. I started by mixing this food with her old to gradually get her used to it. It took awhile as she was not too keen on it, but eventually, she started eating it loved it. Her fur became very soft and shiny and she stopped throwing up. Now I have two other cats that only get this for their dry food. It doesn't have all the chemicals and byproducts that other, cheaper food have. Sure, it costs more, but how much is your cat's health worth? My cats are full of energy, they don't shed all the time anymore, they have clear eyes and their fur is soft. They are the picture of health. I truly believe that all that grain and chopped and boiled chicken feathers can't be good for a cat. This has none of that. I suggest anyone interested in good health for their cat give this a try. I get this on a subscription with Amazon now.....it costs less than anywhere else and I get regular shipments to my door. Back when it came in the pink bags pre 2020, it was the best and healthiest cat food you could get. My 4 Cats loved it and had healthy skin, fur, digestion… it’s different now and the cats will only eat a little bit of this once a week for a change. I don’t think it has the same health benefits anymore anyway.
