There's No Such Thing As Magic Beans...
The flavour is what many people would consider "weak coffee", there's no getting round that. As someone who enjoys his coffee black & generally from a filter machine, I find this to be a positive. It's good "sipping coffee", a real all-day drinker. You can very much perceive the lack of bitterness that (let's be honest) is the thing a lot of people like about coffee & that's why I think many people rubbish this whole kopi luwak process. Yes it's a total gimmick but yes, it does affect the taste of the coffee. Mileage will vary (according to personal taste) as to whether that is to it's benefit or detriment. Personally I prefer the organic, Galapagos grown bean I get from my local roasters. It's got a wider, deeper taste profile & less pronounced bitterness but this (kopi luwak) is still very good coffee in my opinion it just, there's no such thing as magic beans :D

The best coffee you will ever taste !
Smooth velvety chocolate and just moreish. I went through 500 grammes in about a week and half and I went back to my normal coffee beans from illy and they do some of the finest coffee beans but after I tasted the illy it’s seemed really acidic and I wish I had done a tasting side by side because this Kophi Luwak coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had. They charge £100.00 per cup in some coffee shops in London and I certainly don’t think it’s worth that much but it’s still beats any coffee I’ve had by a mile and I’ve had a lot of coffee from different beans to mixed beans like costa coffee use. I have to say the Arabica coffee bean is the best tasting coffee bean way better than the others like restretto which is fruity and acidic. Stick with Arabica coffee and if you can’t afford this then bu Illy Classico coffee it’s also dynamite !

a lovely coffee defiantly worth a try
As inexperienced coffee makers we looked online to find how best to make it, we heated it on the stove and brought to the boil let settle and boiled another couple of times, the aroma was beautiful and happy to say the flavour was not a let down either! As the most expensive coffee I have ever bought I was expecting great things and that is what we got :-) it was not bitter and no nasty taste left in the mouth like others. A real smooth tasteful coffee however definitely not a coffee for a daily dose at that price but understand why it’s the price it Is :-) definitely worth a try !

Nothing Special
I bought this expecting to taste an amazing and unique flavour that justifies the price. Honestly this tasted no different to regular coffee and before you think "oh that guy obviously doesn't appreciate good coffee" I'm pretty experienced with the coffee types I have had. The price is pretty good for what it is so I gave it 3 stars, but if this really is the true and best of Kopi Luwak, people are pretty insane to buy this stuff over normal coffee...

Very nice coffee, I wish I could afford to drink it all the time!
Kopi Lowak (aka Civet coffee) is by far the best coffee I have ever tasted. For those who don't know, it's made from beans that have - ahem - passed through an asian palm civet. The resulting coffee is wonderfully smooth, with a distinct dark chocolate flavour, and hints of wood smoke and caramel. Whether it is worth the price depends on both your personal taste and your budget, and for most people it's probably too expensive to drink every day, but I highly reccomend trying it at least once, and maybe buy it as a treat for xmas, birthdays, posh dinner parties etc.

Treat yourself!
This coffee is our Saturday morning indulgence. Pricey? Yes! But well worth the cost. I buy the whole beans and grind my own. A great way to begin our day!

If Angels Cried tears of coffee this is what it would taste like
A few years ago I had the joy of drinking genuine Luwak Coffee, In Ubud BALI. As smooth as silk. It's the real deal. If there is a coffee heaven this is from there. like the best of fine whisky, or the best-aged tea in China. This time I bought a Kg of it.
