Product was as described and easy to use. Most important is the spring measurement for accurate use and placement. Good value for the money. Repaired a broken couch spring and probably saved $100+ using this product and a little elbow grease.

After seeing these type springs being used on a DIY show I bought them. They went into place without any trouble and the sofa is like new again. Went faster than expected. Will buy again when needed.

Short version: spring is pretty solid, but you need your own screws and to buy extra wire clips if you are working on anything bigger than a chair. It was a solid replacement spring and does the job. It is slightly thicker gauge than the stock spring I was replacing. The install was not super easy, but easy enough, that's the nature of the job not really a factor of the item. I am satisfied with the end result. What I didn't like: 1) The clips require screws, but screws are no included that is just weak 2) It's a two pack of springs, but comes with 8 mounting clips I guess if you break 4 of them? 3) it came with maybe just enough springing wire to do two full passes on the two-seater part of my sofa, but it only comes with 10 clips and tells you to clip the wire at each spring. I basically did every third spring and only one pass and I was out of clips, the numbers just don't make sense. Other than that it's a solid product for what it is and it feels sturdy upon completion.

I was sitting in my recliner and watching some late night television, when all of a sudden I heard something snap underneath me as I sunk into the chair. I quickly realized what had happened and flipped the chair over to investigate what exactly broke. One of the springs had snapped with a clean break. I thought about removing the spring and welding it back to together in my garage, but thought there had to a be a better way. Amazon to the rescue. I had this "kit" in less than 24 hours and replaced the broken spring without too much hassle. It did require quite a bit of strength to get the new spring back in place, and I had to cut the spring to size of the original (used a saw, couldn't find my bolt cutters). Very happy with the price, and I have an extra spring if I need it in the future!

This kit had most of what I needed to repair my chair cushion. I did purchase separately a pair of spring anchors designed to install on the inside rather than the top of the frame so I didn't have to disturb the upholstered portion of the chair....other than that, and perhaps somewhat skimpy instructions, this kit did the trick. Watching a dyi video on YouTube was helpful overall for the project.

One of my springs broke on my couch. I bought this to fix it and it was easy to install. The hardest part was unscrewing the front panel. The 10 ft wire was more than enough to replace what was missing. Overall great product I have furniture repair knowledge from working at a furniture store as a young man. Which helped.

Spring broke in my couch and was only accessible from the bottom. So I flipped the couch on its back. Didn't use the included spring anchors as I just used the ones already installed on the couch. Took a little hammering to get the old spring pieces out and the new one in. A lot of tension in the springs, so be careful stretching them out. Getting the second end on can be a struggle. Wear eye protection. Looks like the cable that was already installed broke in a couple places. So to play it safe I just strung the included tension cable across the length of the couch and clamped it to each spring. A little time consuming but worth the money of not having to buy a new couch or hiring someone to repair it.

Bought this kit to repair a broken spring in my favourite leather recliner. When I heard the spring pop in my chair I immediately thought it was time to replace my 22 year old “friend”. But then I quickly discovered that would be a $2000 spend to get real leather, swivel, recline and rocking. This kit was perfect! Comes with great instructions. Took 30 minutes to replace the seat spring. Pro tip: buy a spring length 2-5 inches longer than the spring size currently in your furniture and use a bolt cutter to cut to size. A perfect fix to get another 20 years out of my favourite chair!
