Perfect hiking shoe for hills.
We just moved to CO and have been doing a lot of hiking. My old Hooka hiking boots are normally comfortable, but with all the hills here, they feel clunky and the downs were hurting my toes. I did lot of research between getting a trail running sneaker or a hiking shoe. I'm not going to be running, and I'm so glad I got these instead. The soles are so grippy and the shoes feel light and nimble. I can scramble across rocks without slipping. The toe box is reinforced and protects my toes too! They were super comfortable out of the box. I 100% recommend these shoes, I am super happy with them!

My Wife Loves Them!
Purchased as Christmas gift for my wife who likes to hike. Said they are the best hiking shoes she’s ever warn - very comfortable with great support. Loves the look as well.

Terrific hiking shoes
I don’t usually write reviews but I want people to notice this hiking shoe. No “break in” time. Comfortable out of the box. I took a 5-mile hike in them the first day. Comfortable throughout the hike. I need a wide toe box but narrow heal. These are perfect. I also like the style. Colorful and a bit different. I’ll buy this brand again.

Perfect out of the box for someone with plantar fasciitis
They do run a tad small. I wear a 10 but they only offer a 9.5-10. On prolonged downhills I notice my toes hitting but otherwise they fit.First wearing was a rugged 4 mile hike and they had great grip walking on wet logs and scrambling up rocky inclines.

Great shoe for climbing around on rocks
I am so glad I purchased these! I love to scramble on my hikes and my hiking boots prior to these had me slipping and sliding all the time! I have wore These a few times now and they’ve been great! I still slip or slide on occasion but I now trust my feet in some pretty sketchy areas and that’s all I wanted!

Very comfortable. Go with size chart even if euro sizes seem too big
These shoes are comfortable from the minute you put them on. They feel like they will only get better when the leather molds to your feet after a few miles. Plus, they are super cute and make your feet look great! (These are by far the most comfortable for me after trying Oboz, Keens, Merrells, Salomon, and La Sportiva Spire GTX.) I typically wear a 9.5 (40) in all my other shoes, but sized up to 41 for these based on the size chart. However, I had to return for a 41.5 for more length to avoid hitting my toes on the front when walking downhill. Plenty of room to accommodate wider feet, but work fine for my narrow foot. All around awesome shoes that I hope to put hundreds of miles on before needing to replace.

unhappy with warranty
I wore this for a few hikes and really like the grip and support. However, after a few uses, it seemed that the fabric on the heel portion of one shoe became unglued. Obviously this caused discomfort. When I contacted Sportiva, the person I spoke with was very pleasant yet was looking for ways to make this my fault implying that I must have done something wrong to the shoe. To follow up on the warrantee, I am to return the shoe at my cost with no anticipated return date..depends on whether they think it can be repaired or if it even is covered under warrantee. Considering the cost of this shoe, I would expect better quality and a better response to this issue.***Edit:The company did eventually replace the shoes. Again, the shipping to the company was at my expense and I was without for an extended time. Luckily I had a different pair that I rotate in.So far, the replacement pair has held up.

Best Shoe EVER!
It is amazing that an approach shoe can be so comfortable! Actually it has been a while since I did a lot of climbing, but after 3 achilles surgeries the support that these shoes give is amazing! I knew I needed a stiff shoe for hiking due to past injuries. These keep my foot safe all day long. When my heel acts up I actually wear these to my Jazzercise class for added support. All the other "gals" think they are so cool. They look great even in a women's size 10. YEA!

Me encantaron
