Pros: Great product. So easy to set up. Out of the box, plugged charger in for 6 hours, switched on, fired straight up, auto tuned in about 111 channels. Turned the knob to scroll though the programmes, found the first one I wanted as the usual channel, pressed and held the Preset button and on screen showing preset 1, pushed down the scrolling knob. Turned scrolling knob to find the second preset I wanted, when programme shown, pressed down scrolling knob to move to that programme. Again pressed and held down the preset button. When it showed the preset option I scrolled the knob to the right to select Preset 2 and pressed down the srolling knob to preset the station. Simples! Very easy to set up. Volume auto at half volume. Just turned it up. Plenty loud enough for the bathroom/shower. Surprisingly good tone too for a small (2") speaker. Much better than the cheaper shower radios I've owned that this replaces. Cons: We have a shower head that comes out of the wall rather than a surface run type of shower unit therefore there's not really anything in the shower area, at eye level, for the radio to hang from. I used a length of cord from a previous radio to loop around the strap and then place over the shower head/pipe from wall. It would be really helpful if Majority could provide a loop/fixing on the back of the radio and a length of cord to be able to hang the radio from a shower head/pipe.

It a gift for my radio loving hubby. He is very pleased with it and uses it every day. The reception is good and the battery can last for quite sometime.

I've had it sat in the bathroom for 3 months which has less than stellar signal reception. Despite the aerial being a thin wire hidden in the handle, it has very good reception with DAB and pretty good with FM too. Quality of sound is reasonable for a small speaker. The controls are mostly intuitive. I haven't tried Bluetooth. Some minor niggles. It resets the volume every time I switch it off. I find the default volume quiet, so I always have to increase it when I switch on. (I did say minor, right?) The (waterproof) buttons and labelling are small, a bit of a challenge to my aging eyesight in contrast to the large and very clear front screen. I'm not sure why on/off wasn't built into the volume control to match the select on the other large switch. The battery check is by navigating the info menu, which is a bit faffy, but it seems to hold enough charge so it's never been an actual issue. I just plug it in overnight on the weekend. Overall I'm happy with my choice and am glad I bought it.

I bought this radio for my bathroom and this seems ideal to withstand damp and water splashes. The radio came already charged to 80% and with an easy to follow instruction booklet. Following the instructions I found it easy to set up and to save my favourite dab radio stations. The FM signal is not good where I live, so I don't bother with FM anymore. What I love is that the display is clear and bright and I can keep an eye on the time from my shower. It is also easy to check the battery life by using the INFO button. I have had the radio for a couple of weeks, using it every day for about half an hour and have only just had to charge the battery - you get a warning when the battery is low. This radio is very well made, feels like it is built to last and is lovely and easy to use. Fantastic picece of kit.

Very nice radio brilliant in the shower

This is my upstairs radio which I listen to in the bathroom and while getting ready for my day. It’s great as it is showerproof and it has a good display so it’s easy to see the time or any information about the programme. It also has no annoying aerial as that is hidden in the handle but the signal is really strong and the sound is very good. It’s also easy to carry around. If I could suggest one improvement it would be for a battery level display on the screen as you have to press the info button several times to check it. So far the battery charge is still at 100% even though I have been using it for several days. There is also a 3 year warranty which is good even though it isn’t an expensive bit of kit. Well done Majority!

Bought for use in and around our hot tub, we have been using this radio for about 3 months now. It also regularly finds itself in the garage with me or under a car. Easy to keep clean, and very splash/ moisture resistant (it accidentally got submerged once and survived) the sound quality is very good and has really good bass which small radios don’t usually have. We have also used the Bluetooth function a fair amount which is very easy to use and has a decent range too. From a full charge I spent a whole day working outside with it and it died after about 8hrs at a pretty high volume, I would say that is probably more than enough for most people’s needs. The ability to remove one side of the handle to allow you to loop it over a bar/ branch/axel is genius and I regularly use this function. It feels really good quality too. The rubberised Finnish and reassuring weight of it make it feel very simlilar to a Bose Wireless speaker we have that cost a great deal more. For the price an excellent item.

I bought this radio for use in the bathroom and it's just what I wanted. It's water resistant so no need to worry about it getting splashed and looks good too! The sound quality is good - it's not as good as my Pure Evoke H3 but for use in the bathroom it's more than adequate. The battery life is very good too so only needs charging every month or so when in use for 30 minutes per day. My only complaint is with the volume control as when you switch it on, it always comes on at a low volume, no matter what volume setting it was on when switched off so you always have to increase the volume after switching it on. Strange this as I've never known this before on other radios. Overall, a good radio and I'd recommend it for bathroom use.

Una buena radio para la piscina o el baño. Yo la alterno entre ambos sitios. No he probado su estanqueidad, pero si que aguanta la humedad del baño. Se escucha bien incluso a dos puntos de sonido y al menos en Madrid coge todas las emisoras sin ningún problema. Tal vez el único pero que es más grande de lo que me gustaría y eso la hace ocupar bastante sitio en la encimera. Para fuera es ideal.
