ATD Tools 7441 Underhoist Stand - 3/4 Ton Capacity

I purchased this and it is everything I expected and more! I use it at work on every thing that is with in its weight limit has not fallen down. I bought the model that will hold 3/4 ton. Thats 1500 pounds! I always check to be sure it is in good shape and lubricate the working parts to be sure of years of service. Many other seller offer cheaper products that hold less weight and a 2 piece pole construction, buy the single pole construction. I recomend purchasing a product that holds more weight and with a one piece pole construction. I am happy with my purchase. The delivery was fast. It was easy to assemble. Irecomend this product.

Excellent for the price!!! This product is light enough to move about the shop with one hand, yet feels sturdy enough to balance and stabilize an awkward vehicle or part on the lift.

I purchased to of these for use in my home shop. The finish is nice, but the fitment was terrible. The stands fit together such that the base of the unit and the vertical shaft are two separate pieces. The vertical shaft is hollow and slides down over a nub or nipple on the base. There is a horizontal hole through both the base and she shaft which a bolt (supplied) is inserted to lock the two pieces together. Unfortunately, the outer diameter of the nub/nipple is not large enough to fit snuggly into the shaft, thus the shaft can rock back and forth. It's actually a joke how bad the fitment is, it's not even close. This is extremely unsafe, and should never be acceptable during the manufacturing process. I thought if I tightened the bolt enough, it would collapse the shaft enough to eliminate the rocking/wobbling. However, once I tried this, I ended up stripping the threads out of the weak grade bolt. I would have sent them back, but needed them for a time sensitive project. I ended up installing a Grade 8 bolt and nut, and welded the shaft to the base to prevent the unit from moving. They have worked fine for me since. I would imagine those that are purchasing these types of items would have the means to fix them, but it shouldn't be a requirement. I should have known the price was too good to be true.

Support Stand works great, ssves quite a bit of time while working on assembly of my 41 willys zmkaes working under car much saver and easier supporting and adjusting equipment.

Pros: Easy to assemble. Works good. Cons: Need to be careful when moving the stand because the guts can fall out if you do not keep the stand vertical when moving. Chain that is attached to the rubber bumper needed to be removed because it gets twisted around the screw when you are raising or lower it.

This is a great pole jack. Excellent value. Even has a removeable rubber pad up top so you don't have to use a block of wood in between when supporting things like an aluminum engine oil pan. Will definitely buy an additional one if needed!!

MAY CAN SUPPORT 1.5 TON BUT HEAD IS CAST NOT SOLID STEEL. WILL SPLIT IF LOAD NOT 100% DEAD MIDDLE VERY DANGEROUS ITEM. REST OF SUPPORT SEEMED O.K. DEFINATELY NEED BETTER HEAD......
