When I graduated high school, my piano teacher at the time, the late Shirley Newton, gave me a copy of this with a very sweet note written inside. I continued to play songs in this book for years to come. Unfortunately during my divorce, my ex got rid of all of my music including this book. For some reason I could not find it anywhere. I had bought another big classical piano compilation book, but it just wasn't as well done or enjoyable to play out of. Then recently I just happened to search again for it and I found it. I immediately ordered a copy of it and am delighted now to be able to play from it again. The first song in it is The Well Tempered Clavier - Prelude No 1 by JS Bach, which to me is the perfect song to open up a wonderful collection of music with. Beethoven, Bach, Haydn, Chopin, Debussy...everyone you can think of. It is an essential part of anyone's music collection especially if you're even just a casual.

I played the piano for over 15years, then a huge break due to raising kids. Now that I’m an empty nester, this book contains great selections of easy, intermediate, and difficult pieces that you’ve heard before.

This book reminds me of piano lessons from when I was a kid and is everything I rememb it to be. Great mix of Classical pieces. The comb binding makes this the best for sitting on the piano and page turns. Artived on time.

This is a large collection of intermediate and advanced music. It is all in one book.

Nice variety in this collection, ranging from intermediate to advanced. Clear printing throughout. Deducting one star because the pages are a bit hard to turn with the coil binding, and I've had several pages snag in between the book and the lip of the music stand.

Great selection of classical pieces. The pieces are for upper intermediate or advanced players. Definitely not a beginners book

I’ve always gone and bought composer specific books but then I bought this one. It had 90% of my favorite pieces, it has a ring binding and print is good. Highly recommend this book for most of the best classical pieces for the intermediate to advanced player.

I am a piano teacher and gave this to one of my long time students as he started school. My only caution to others is that this is mostly advanced music so make sure you are up for the challenge!
