just works. Ties are a bit fragile but not too bad, better than some others. Textured front helps keep food from rolling off. Plastic back prevents leak through. Good size. Quite long. Wide enough. Overall better than others and this is at least the fourth brand I've tried.

They seem really thin when you pull them out of the package, i fact they are so thin that it is difficult to make sure you are just pulling one bib out and not two or three stuck together, but they are plastic-lined on the back side and nothing seeps through. I mean nothing. We spilled soup, and nothing went through the bib. I also appreciate the way it secures - you tie a simple knot behind the neck. Much easier than bibs that make you pull them over the head - which is a hassle. But they are thin enough, when you are done, just pull the necktie apart. Great product.

I want to modify my earlier review of these bibs. The more we use them, the more we realize how inferior they are. They are too short (don't cover the entire lap of wearer, they're very thin and don't hold together. I had purchased the SNL bibs many times and had always been satisfied. This last order was entirely different and obviously weren't manufactured to the same specifications. I am in the process of extending the length of these bibs by cutting off two 11-inch strips at the bottom of many of them and adding with tape to the other bibs. I have read many of the reviews of this item, and if you do the same, you'll realize that the "good ratings" are from quite some time ago. I had bought these for a long time and was also satisfied with them. However, it appears that someone else has taken over the company, and the qualify has been destroyed. I will never buy these again and will continue to modify my existing stock until it's used up. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a replacement for the original SNL bib which was excellent. The current product is unacceptable and is a disgrace to the name SNL. My guess is that some other entity is now operating SNL and not the original party.

Great disposable bibs. I bought these for my husband. Even through they seem thin they do a great job. They absorb moisture, they don’t leak through to close. They are nice in length and can be folded into small packages for easy storage and on the go. We store well and easy to access in his walker and car. Great value, very happy with this purchase and will be reordering this product.

I thought I was buying the same size as my first order, but this batch of bibs falls shorter on my lap and the ties are flimsier, but they do work to prevent spills from landing on my blouse. I must have purchased a different brand.

These are thin and disposable which is great. I bought these for my 98 yr old MIL with dementia. It catches liquid drips but not food. Food will go right onto lap or floor. It does keep most of her gowns clean so it does what it’s made to do. Size wise it’s big for her as she’s about 100 lbs. but that’s not an issue for us.
