I have a 6 pound Chihauhau [rescued and we love her!!!]. Finding the "just right" harness was not easy.She's not an escape artist so I didn't need a harness with a high/tight neck. She's kind of "busty" so the girth was too small on some. Some that fit decently were too bulky for her small frame. This one has a low neck, isn't bulky, is padded, and adjusted to fit her perfectly. I'll be ordering the other two colors. Just like with my clothes/shoes...if you find something that fits, buy it in every color! [I'm not sure how durable they'll be, but at the reasonable price and ease of ordering, that won't be a problem.]ALSO...A huge Thank You to Amazon and Kohl's for making returns so easy! My dog likes this harness! Imagine that. The pressure during our walk is now on her chest, rather than on her windpipe/neck (as it would be if I attached the leash to her collar). She doesn't usually pull, but if she does it's not painful for her. The padding on the chest strap and across her upper back is substantial, and the fabric covering the padding is a soft ultrasuede. Nothing drags on her fur. The ring on the back to attach the leash is large, making it easy for me to get her out the door. The stitching on the harness is reflective, for extra safety. Both the chest and tummy straps are adjustable. Slip over her head and click the tummy buckle closed, and she's secure. She can't back out of this one, or slip it off. All good. Photo shows her with a leash other than the one that came w the harness. The included leash is fine, and I use it, but that is not why I purchased this item.Note that the harness color fades substantially and quickly, even if the harness doesn’t get wet. This doesn’t affect the durability of the product.Edit From one month after purchase - I still love the harness. But the dog did NOT want to wear it all day! I figured that was more convenient than putting it on and taking it off, so I just left it on. Nope. She managed to gnaw through it. Rotten dog! I replaced it with the same one, but now I know to take it off after her walk. I have also purchased a third one, just to have color options.

I bought this for my New puppy. My previous dog had the same harness (but without the padding) in pink and I loved the design so I wanted to get my new pup the same one just in purple. I love the design and how it fits, however, I wouldn’t say it’s purple it’s more of a fuchsia harness with lilac padding... not purple, the leash it comes with is purple. It DOES NOT match which didn’t affect me since I won’t be using the leash just the harness, but I wish it was actually purple. My new pup is 5.5lbs right now and the xxsmall on it’s tightest first her well.

This is the best harness I've ever used! The separate adjustments for body and neck are perfect, the cotton padding is comfy, or seems to be. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the neck... If you tighten as much as you can, the velcro tabs go past the end sticky part. It is hard to explain. I actually ordered the next size down, but it was WAY small to see if I could tighten the neck. The sizing on this brand is a little weird. My 19 pound cockapoo usually wears a medium harness or collar. The small in this brand is more like a medium.The adjustable leash is GREAT! I don't know how I missed adjusting leashes before, but it's the best of both worlds when 4ft is too short and 6ft is too long.The cost is cheap, but the quality is excellent. (There are other brands of this same set that cost much more. Keep that in mind when looking around Amazon.*Pardon the pics where my child is/has been playing in the bushes. My Papillon likes this set better than the older one she had. It is more comfortable on her and she isn't being pinched under her tiny arm area which was stressful when walking her on the older set. The color is as pictured and the entire set was a great buy. I have one concern and that could be maybe adding an attachment to the ring where the leash is to have one hook to attach to the collar but not to choke. I tried to help her up with the lease to climb some stairs and it came off. Fortunately, I got her before she realized her freedom and run. I had adjusted all the areas to its max so that was not the area of concern. Otherwise, well made, and Milan likes that it goes over her head and then can snap it around her body to put on

I love this harness! My small, older Yorkie was hurting her neck with her old harness. She’s a Yorkie who is walked every day and will lunge when she sees a mailman, UPS/FedEx, dog she decides she doesn’t like, and walkers and bikers she decides need to be checked. she really is a sweet dog, it’s just that Yorkie characteristic of being bigger than your britches that comes out. This harness fits her chest and not her neck, so no pulling in that area. It's also very lightweight for our warm climate. I simply adjust and put it over her sweater when it’s really cold. For the price, it’s perfect. Will be ordering more. I don’t use the leash. The metal part is heavy for such a small dog and I prefer a 6 ft leash to a 4 ft.

This harness is beyond perfect! I bought an XS for my 6.5lbs Pomeranian. Fits her perfectly and there is a way to make it a bit bigger if you pup is a little heavier or if she gets chunkier haha. The measurements on the chart are correct BUT my pup fit in between the XXS and XS. I had first ordered XXS but the extension wasn’t all that much and it fit her but too tight so I had to exchange it for XS. The company did work with me and were very nice. The harness is soft, well made, very safe, and looks great! Can’t find one thing wrong with it :)

Fits better than expected. Doesn't bother my dog while she runs around in it. I think I would prefer if the metal loop on the back was fixed as opposed to sliding around the handle. It kind of pulls around the harness. Material is not stretchy at all. I like the contrast of the darker leash, I just wish it was half the width for such a small dog and harness (it's an inch wide and thick sturdy material).My dog is 9.5 lbs, about 9-10" neck and about 15" chest girth. She's wearing the XS.
