Worked just as described. Read all my RFID cards perfectly

Works great, company uses Hirsch products and needs a seamless and cheaper integration solution for enrolling credentials. This worked like a charm. Using the second option of Facility Code + Card ID numbers with a space between and enter being applied. This works flawlessly. I did note and why I dropped it down a star, silicone wrist band type credentials sometimes wouldn’t read, but this was when device was plugged into a hub or docking station. When directly plugged in it had no issues reading these items. I have ran approx 500 reads against it and had only slight delays. I’ve also tested on 3 different machines and only item of problem was noted wrist bands being problematic when hooked up to a hub or dock. I plan to order more and get them in the field for further testing. Great product.

Needed something not to expensive for a project where we already used HID badge cards. units worked perfect out of box no need to install software or drivers and also worked in my android phone. for someone like me with no experience in RF ID cards it was very easy. If you need to change the number format then it requires more knowledge on how is choose and configure the right format for you.

Once plugged in, I could never get it powered on long enough to configure it. If I push the USB cable into the reader and hold it, I can get it to the configuration menu. Once I let go of the cable the reader powers off.

I wanted to use the product for a Meals on Wheels food distribution site. Besides getting different numbers on different readers AFTER POWERING OFF FOR THE NIGHT. It no longer sends a return after the read. Without the return I can not do an auto look up. We were preparing to make it a center part of our operation. With its flaky operation we can't. Yesterday I asked for help. I will report back. UPDATE After powering off system It seems to sometimes lose its configuration. You will need to reconfigure at times to get all readers to sync on same setting.

Purchased these to assist us with tracking employees who volunteer. It was a bit confusing to navigate the set up because I am not familiar with using scanners or the set up, but i recalled the description noted to reach out to the supplier with any questions. I did, and they were so responsive in helping me set up the scanners using the advanced configuration. We are hopeful that these will save allot of time and aggravation. In the past we either used manual sign in sheets or had our laptops open and had people enter information - both were time consuming and unfortunately people don't remember certain information as well as don't write legibly.

The reader works perfectly. I have a prototype project I used this for and I could see so many applications for it. The reader will write the Id number to the connected device, in my instance to a field on a webpage. It automatically presses enter after entering the card id number. Perfect identity or access tool.
