Much thicker material than I expected, very sturdy. This was good for me as I was using this to mount on the seat base of my Vanagon and needed sturdy plastic. Very happy with the quality and the finish is very nice and glossy. The cup holder depth could be a little deeper, tall drink bottles lean over but don't seem like they will fall out.

Works great for my application in my 1965 Buick Riviera but would not recommend for smaller car with less seat width.

Didn't work in my truck, works just fine in the car. The back of the holder is dead flat up to an inch or so of the top. If there's any overhang at all in the vehicle console, the holder will lean and hold nothing. Truck has maybe a quarter inch of overhang at the very top, and is kind of tall. Could not get the holder to sit vertically for anything. Car has a much shorter console, and zero overhang. Cup holder sits dead vertical and works like a charm. The cup holders themselves are stepped, so wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. Work good with 24oz bottles as well as fountain drink cups. I've even got a cell phone holder in one of them and it holds it fine. Pen holders are of limited value. While they do hold pens, the pens stick up in the way of everything, and are prone to get swept with the forearm if you reach for anything in the passenger seat.

This holder was supposed to fit well in a Chevy Equinox. It does fit, but it is not very stable. It tends to tip, so if you put a drink in it, you have to be very careful. It is made nice and sturdy, but it could fit a little better.

The back side of this is open and concave, not a flat smooth surface like in the photos. This causes it to fly out from between the seats at every stoplight and stop sign.

In real life, this greats idea doesn’t fit perfectly, or remain level, of have cup holes small enough (diameter) to keep water bottles upright, or deep enough to keep the bigger cups upright…so they should pick one … either large diameter for insulated tumblers and Big Gulps, or deep enough for 16oz. water bottles … or something. In this case, versatility yields a reduction in usability, thus making specialization preferable. Or, maybe one cup hole one type, and second one the other type. Anyway, if you’re planning to install somewhere pretty flat, and only want to use it to hold junk or short cups, it’ll work fine. If you think it’ll keep a bottle of Dasani upright, you’re gonna have to get creative and shim the hole smaller somehow. The width and shallowness make these equally sub-par/non-useful for both types of drinks. I addition, they’re 100% slick, hard/durable plastic, so there’s nothing “grabby” to help them stay level or oriented as desired. You could affect this positively with some double-sided foam tape or Velcro strips…so, if you wanna get crafty, you can sleeve the holes and affix it securely to console or seats, and then you’d have something more useful.

I have mine fitted between the seat and centre console of a Vauxhall-Opel Omega, where it works extremely well. Typically I carry a canned drink, my phone, and use the second cup holder for keys. It's a simple product that works well in the right applications, and could be adapted for individual use, should you wish to.

Made of decent and sturdy plastic, should do the job quite well for how I will use it.

I wanted something to hold cups and cell phone while operating my older grader. I mounted this to the inside wall channel of the cab with metal screws, and it works very well! The soda bottle is stable when bouncing around, and the cell phone doesn't move either.
