Yes all good, the only negative part it is the light - has only a very small led, you can't see anything at night.

Yeah unfortunately you do and its not obvious how to do it. But there are a few videos on YouTube that are useful.

Does this have a lifetime battery

Doubt it, never known a watch that does but I've had mine a while and it's still going.
