First of all....I loved the price £8.99 for 15 bracelets. The bracelets are in an assortment of colours & actually look very attractive on...compared to other ones we have tried in the past. They look good quality... On opening the pack the smell is quite strong....that's good ! We have just returned from Egypt...loads of mosquitos in green/garden areas. We each wore a braclet for the 9 day holiday..only in the evening when the mosquitos are out in force. One bracelet lasted the whole holiday & still smells! We did not have one bite & there were many people covered in bites at our hotel😔....for us they really worked. Maybe it was just us..but we found the bracelets a bit fiddly to put on...seems you need a second pair of hands to help🤣 The bracelet is made of polyurethane. Contains citronella oil, lavender oil, lemongrass oil & peppermint oil. Suitable for adults & children. Deet free. Re sealable bag I would buy this pack again as I felt the smell lingered for longer than other types. Sldo far nicer than bright plastic bands☺️

Nice and colourful bracelets/anklets. They definitely worked for me and my son but not so well for my husband but he may have needed 2. Very trendy and look fab. Nice smell too not chemical at all.

Was getting a few bites until I got these but I did take mine off to shower was says waterproof but could smell it after it got wet

I brought these hoping not to getting bitten as I am normally a target for every single midgy on the planet. Soon as they see me its like all the Christmases have come at once. After reading the reviews I was worried about the strong smell. However, it was not that bad I put one on my left wrist so I didn't get the smell when drinking with my right hand and I put one on my right ankle. I changed them every other day, I was constantly in and out the pool, sea, and shower and they lasted well changing every other day. In this time I NEVER GOT BITTEN ONCE WOOO HOOO. thats never happened before. Then coming to the last day of the holiday I was due to change them and I never bothered as I was going home that day and I got bitten once. I am quite sure if I had stuck to changing them I would not of got bitten. But any how I can live with one bite when I am normally covered in the first day. My 19 year old daughter laughed at me for getting them and she refused to wear them, and she was covered in bites (but all teenagers no best lol). My wife who is normally one of these lucky people who never gets bitten got bitten on the second day so she started wearing them and never got bitten again. So I can 100% recommend them and will be using them every time I go away.

Worked well and looked really nice!

Unfortunately these haven’t worked for us. I have worn on my left ankle and left wrist and still been bitten on my left leg, left arm, left hand, left finger over two days. I’d hoped these would be effective but even my son and daughter found these ineffective against mosquitos. My daughter has gained 20 more bites since wearing it with repellent as well. I have needed to purchase a net for night as these have not been a deterrent.

They actually work! The one night I forgot to wear these around my ankles, I was bitten 3 times on my legs. Every other night I've been clear of bug bites. The bracelets are the perfect size - I have size four feet and my partner is size 11 and we can both easily tie these around our ankles. They're a cute variety of colours and the bag has an effective reseal so we pop them back in each morning after use. As for the smell, it is STRONG! The citronella is quite overpowering which honestly just further proves their effectiveness against the buggies who hate that smell. I quite like it. Addressing other reviews: Yeah of course these wouldn't totally work if you decide to go on a hike through the Amazon Rainforest or sleep it rough in Egypt. Get yourself some mosquito nets and a powerful bug spray instead. If you're not in a country known for its airborne nasties, these are a nice solution to those few bites you'll get in the summer months.

I don't wish to put you off purchasing them (because they obviously work for some people)..I would just advise a deet product for someone that mozzies LOVE to bite so much! It's more effective, have also learnt now that deet is actually safe when used as directed. I'm all for natural products but I guess not with this one.
