Nice and quiet. Love it!
I first bought a U-line model that costs twice as much, couldn't stand the noisy fan, returned it and ordered the EdgeStar. Much quieter. It looks nice and works well to keep the temp cold. Very happy so far. Hope it lasts. Our previous one was made by Avanti, very nice looking, perfect fit for built-in, but broke down after less than 3 years. Only improvement I would recommend for EdgeStar is to make the door less bulky so it would fit flush in a 24" built-in under the counter space and doesn't have to stick out in order to avoid touching the flanking cabinet door.

Good product
Arrived completely well packaged. Got it all unwrapped -- all the published dimensions exactly right. Moved it in place to replace an old Uline -- works PERFECTLY. Looks great. Entirely satisfactory. Love the blue light. Shelves slide in and out. Could not be happier. Delivery guy -- entirely pleasant and helpful. A credit to the industry.

Edgestar small refrigerator is a hit....
I had a built-in Uline small refrigerator, that failed, and I decided to replace it, rather than attempt a repair. So I purchased 2 of these units for less than one new Uline would have cost. The reason I purchased a second unit, was to possibly be ahead of our second Uline possible failure. We are very happy with the units, they look equally as attractive as the Uline. The only real difference is no storage on the door. But what I really like it the temperature display setting. The unit can be set to 38 degrees at the lowest setting, and there is a 2nd display which shows the actual temperature in the refrigerator. The inside has blue led lights up when the door is opened which look very attractive. There is also a fan inside to circulate the cold air, which makes the unit more efficient. The shelves have a bunch of round holes in them to circulate the air also. Overall very happy with the purchase, definitely would recommend these refrigerators for purchase to anyone interested.

Pretty good even with minor quibbles
About 3 months in to use, and overall I like the fridge, especially when priced against alternatives and compared on reliability, noise reports, etc. However, it's not perfect. I'll list the minor quibbles: - the shelves have large holes in them, for what I'm assuming is temperature flow to make all levels consistently cold. However, they can cause some minor instability for a beer bottle if it sets just right on that hole. I'd rather have had smaller holes but more of them. Not much of a problem except when loading it. This likely has to do with load bearing of the glass panels, so it is what it is. - while the fridge is quiet overall, ours has a very peculiar noise. When the house is quiet, you'd swear a kitten is stuck behind the unit: it makes some very odd rising, high-pitched mews, and on a fairly regular basis (every few minutes or more). If there is any sort of background noise, this is not noticeable, but if there's no one talking, no TVs on, and folks are still, we can hear it from as far away as an adjacent room. Fortunately it has not freaked out the 3 cats we have. ;) - the blue light doesn't do a lot for illumination in the interior for my older & minor red/green colorblind eyes. I'm not sure what provides the blue color to the light - the lens or the bulb - but if I could change it for a white light I will/would. Now if I would just let it empty out a bit more to provide better access to the light to resolve that question... - the shelf adjustability would be better if there were more optional slots for the glass shelves. For me, unless I remove one of the glass shelves I only have one of the three shelves where I can stand up beer bottles, and only standard beer bottles. Larger specialty beer bottles must lay flat, so nothing with sediment on those shorter shelves. - The location of the lock is not very convenient - it would have been better to have at the top of the door, but if the concern was esthetics or impact on the ease of removing contents from the fridge, then I understand. The lock has a tongue that sticks out about 3", fortunately only when the door is open. Would have been nice if that could have been recessed a bit more or done away with entirely. If none of those issues are enough to chase you away, and they really aren't for me either, then I'd recommend this fridge so far.

Customer support
I ordered two of these fridges. I built two BBQ islands since I am a General Contractor. One unit was great! It’s working fine. However, when I open the second one I realized that all glass shelves were shuttered inside the unit. I couldn’t finish the project, therefore, I haven’t been paid. I contacted the seller and they responded with an apology and asked for a picture of the damaged which I provided they with. I have not heard from them and have not responded to my email.

Should’ve lasted longer
Great fridge for the time it worked. Bought it in Summer of 2019. It died this past week (10/2024). Barely 5 years old. That’s $100+/year for the fridge. Sad because I really liked it for the time I had it.

Great fridge and great customer service
The beverage refrigerator is excellent. However, when it arrived both the box and the fridge were damaged. I notified the seller and received a rapid response. Since it wasn’t eligible for return I was offered a $200 refund off the original price. The damage is cosmetic and out of view under a counter. I was assured that the damage would not have a negative impact on my extended warranty. I’m still giving a five star rating as the customer service was outstanding and the fridge keeps drinks very cold with a large capacity.

Pricey but well worth it!
I hesitated for 6 months before getting this fridge because of the cost. It was the only one with good reviews so I thought it was worth getting it. It came nicely packaged and the delivery guy brought it all the way into my garage. The fridge is very heavy and solid looking. The temperature is staying constant and it can hold a ton! It looks great and i love the blue light! I definitely recommend!
