Superb
This is my first battery operated blower, which I avoided for years because of reviews saying they were under-powered and/or had super short run times. I'm here to tell you that this has neither of the problems, at least for my uses. This blower has been nothing short of superb so far. I bought my first blower about 17 years ago when I bought my house here in Tucson. I have a rock yard with mesquite trees and other bushes, and the rocks/driveway/sidewalk get absolutely covered in pollen (happening right now) and small leaves at times in the year. A lawn vac does a better job of cleaning and I went that route for years, but I get totally covered in dirt when using a vac, and they are harder to lug around. A blower does a decent job while leaving me relatively clean. I hate gas blowers (get to listen to the pros use them at neighbors homes and hate the loud noise and smell) and have been using corded blowers, mostly from Black and Decker. However, it takes me a good five minutes or more just to get the cords out and plugged in to get ready to start, and then the cords sometimes get in the way and usually make me backtrack around bushes. Enter this superb blower. Wow. Just wow. It's significantly quieter than my corded blowers, and compared to gas - forget about it. This thing is quieter as I'm holding it than the gas blower the landscaper uses when he's half a block away. In fact, I was so excited when it first showed up on a Sunday afternoon that I immediately unpacked it (which took all of about a minute because there's only two pieces) and started using it with the 80V battery that I already had, and it didn't occur to me until later in the day that I hadn't put in my earplugs. It's not _silent_, for sure, but it's a heck of lot quieter than I'm used to. Performance is plenty good for me. It has three main settings (low, medium, high), and then you can further tailor the air flow by how much you depress the trigger. I'm lazy and just pull the trigger all of the way back. On low, it makes quick work of pollen and tree litter on concrete such as my driveway and sidewalk - soooo much faster and easier than sweeping like I've done for years, and quiet enough that I can do it before I leave for work and not be "that guy" who wakes up the neighborhood. On medium, it works great blowing off the rocks in my main yard. It's so powerful on medium that (like my other blowers) I need to be careful not to blow the rocks around. On high...well, I hardly ever go there because it's so strong, but I think that you'll be pleased. I was pretty stunned at the air flow on high, and it forced my arm back the first time because I wasn't ready for it. Run times are very impressive using my 2A battery. I haven't actually timed myself, but I've blown off my yard twice on weekends so far and blown off my concrete daily. I always try to keep my blowing under an hour on weekends because, again, I don't want to be "that" guy. I probably used it for about twenty minutes at a time switching between medium and low, and my battery still lit up two out of the three indicator lights. I certainly might have used it longer, but I'm trying not to exaggerate. The ease of use is simply amazing compared to my corded models. Before work, I can just grab it, push the on button, walk out to spend about a minute blowing off the driveway and sidewalk, turn it off, and set it back down in my garage. Done. The fact that it's faster to use this than to grab my broom is fantastic to me. This is my fifth GreenWorks product (and I'm overall pretty happy with them), and I already had a 40V and 80V batteries and chargers, so this was a good deal for me because I didn't have to pay for the battery and charger. I almost bought the one with the battery anyway because I thought that I'd need more run time and would want a spare battery, but I haven't come close to needing another one. If you already have one of their 80V batteries, even the 2A one, I suggest getting this and not another battery to start to check if you'd want any more run time than you already get. Plus, if you already have one of those batteries, you know that they charge up pretty fast. Overall, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend this blower. One of my best lawn care purchases ever.

ONE BAD ASS HAIR DRYER :) A MUST HAVE for the guy who likes to have the coolest and best of Everything
I was looking over and searching through reviews and such trying to find the Absolute best "Blower" available. After reading about Samantha and Janet who work as a team at the local Massage parlor which by the way had some really GOOD reviews, I then changed my "Search" to look for the Best "LEAF Blower" and came across this Greenworks. It took a bit of time to order because I wanted to make sure I got the right model. Make sure when you order that you get the Blower, the Battery, and the charger as they are normally listed and sold separately. Don't let the price of it all together steer you away and towards purchasing something far inferior and not worth your hard earned cash. Buy Right and Buy once is my Motto. After all my research, it seemed that this was the bad boy to have (Make sure you get the 80 volt and not the older less powerful older model). I hit the add to cart and purchased from a vendor that was "Prime' eligible and hit place order. 2 days later a box of goodies was at my doorstep. Thankfully the battery came with a little charge because I couldn't wait to blow this right up my wife skirt which was pretty funny hahahaha. After chasing the wife and 1 year old around the house for a bit. I went ahead and put it on the charger for a good first FULL charge. Once it was fully charged, Grabbed the blower and began to have some fun. Gosh damn this thing is so AWESOME. I originally got it to blow out the garage as I have those Rubber snap together tiles in there and the dirt, leaves and debris is a bitch to try and sweep out. This blower gets ALL the Dirt and Dust out so quickly. Just park the cars off to the side of the house or you WILL Blow everything strait from the garage and right into the cars with their windows down if they are left parked right in front of the garage (Lesson learned) LOL. Blowing off the driveway is extremely easy, I will Never need a broom for that task anymore. Whats really cool and kind of funny is rather than using a rake to rake leaves, I simply use this blower to blow all the leaves from my lawn and onto the street curb edge every Tuesday eve because the Street sweeper picks it all up for me Wed morning ROFL. I was able to blow out the garage, the driveway and the lawn, the side walkways of the house, blew off all cabinets in the garage, outside patio and Bar B Q area, worked great on blowing off the AC unit outside, had to blow all the dirt and dust off that I originally blew onto the cars when blowing out the garage and learning that first lesson, Also blew off all the water that was still on back patio from spraying it down. In Laws were visiting so I used it to blow up a queen size air mattress in less than 9 seconds :) and lastly even blew dry the dog after he jumped in the pool. That alone was really entertaining. The blower was on MAX speed this whole time, when I was finished with the first round of maximum air blasting, I was impressed to see that I still had plenty of battery left after all the use. If I were to turn the power down and use a lower setting, I could see how this would last a really long time. I just don't see using less power as being as much fun. When I was originally placing the order, I was considering purchasing a second battery with the unit, but after using it, I can tell I will not really need a second battery. Worse case scenario is that if I run out of battery power, I can take a 10-15 min break and have a cold beer while the battery charges back up. This totally blows away corded and gas blowers. I was never a fan of Manly gas powered tools going electric, but now this blower has me looking for some more cool electric tools. But its gonna have to be some big 80+ volts to get my attention. The power, light weight, Fume free, and cordless features make this tool an absolute must have for every mans garage. With out the fumes and cords, this makes it very easy to use in the garage without choking on fumes or leaving behind the fresh smell of carbon dioxide everywhere. This blower works PERFECT for air drying the SCUDERIA after a nice hand wash. The blower actually dried off the car better than when I drive it at 160 MPH to air dry it. Not as much fun though, however its much safer :) The Blower also works great to blow the kids off after they get out of the pool and before they come back inside the house. Its really funny when they open there mouth and their cheeks get blasted with tornado forces of wind ROFL This blower truly does save you Time, Energy, and money. This is my first review EVER and very well deserved. Who would of thought one can have so much fun with a tricked out hair dryer. Two thumbs up for the GREENWORKS 80 VOLT Blower. Looking forward to your next models and high voltage man toys.

My 3rd Greenworks tool and review
I bought this 80V blower, trimmer, battery and charger on an Amazon one day sale in August, 2017 or thereabout. The price was awesome, delivery and set up were fine. Now that I've finished leaf blowing season here in central VA I have a good feel for what this thing will do. To set the stage, my house is in the middle of 4 acres with the house and yard completely surrounded by hardwood trees. Lots of leaves. I use this blower to clear about 240 feet of gutter, 1,200+ square feet of roof, 1,000+ square feet of deck, 1,000+ square feet of patio, sidewalk and carport. All of the above involves moving an extension ladder to 6 different locations so I can get on the roof of Florida room, porches, workshop and garage. With all those leaves now on the ground along with what started on the ground, the real fun begins. The driveway is 200+ feet and about 5 cars wide near the house. I blow those leaves away from the house into the woods. In the yard near the house where so many leaves are accumulated, I blow them in a direction, blow out a rectangle the size of a tarp. Lay the tarp down and blow leaves onto it from all sides. I have to finish that part with some raking. Once the heavy stuff is gone, I vacuum the rest with a lawn tractor/bagger. In total, this is a 5 to 6 hour job at least once a week during prime leaf time. Now to the blower. I am quite satisfied with the power. It clears gutters with no problem. The easy stuff like roof, deck, walkways, etc any blower will do. Then on the ground, I find this blower will continue to move a pile of dry leaves up to about 18 inches high. That is comparable to my experience with corded blowers and not too far behind gas though I haven't used one of those in 15 years or so.. Compared to corded blowers, it's wonderful not to drag a cord up and down the ladder or across the roof (and safer). Also great when making the loop around the tarp. And I'm very happy not to drag out 200 feet of extension cord to get to the end of the driveway. So why not 5 stars. Battery life. With continued use, like up and down my driveway, the battery is spent in 13 minutes. So even with 2 (2AH) batteries (the first one I got with the chainsaw almost 2 years ago) there are times I'm dead in the water waiting for one to finish charging. Despite this shortcoming, not fooling with an extension cord(s) is great and it has saved some time despite the occasional wait. Now, I'm not an engineer but.......The chainsaw meets a lot of resistance chewing though a piece of hardwood yet I'm quite satisfied with the amount of wood I cut with one battery charge. The trimmer meets resistance cutting grass and weeds not to mention slapping up against walls, walkways, edging, posts, fencing, tree trunks, etc. yet I'm also satisfied with the amount of trimming I get done with a single charge. Since there is no resistance to the blower, I expected it would do even better. So I don't understand the 13 minute drain of the battery. That's the most disappointing aspect for me and the reason for 4 stars.

Plenty of blow power and easy to handle
This is my second of this model and it's perfect for me: cordless, lightweight enough for a guy in his 70s, and plenty of horsepower for even peak-week leaf moving. It's well balanced, making even extended cleanup a "breeze" (get it?). I tried the Pro model (also 80v), but it was too heavy and the balance seemed weird; this one is just right. And it works with my other Greenworks 80v tools.

2 years Later!
I personally have used this product for 2 years now. I use it to make money with every month and have every month since I have purchased it. I purchased this through my mother's account 2 years ago. My name is Brian and the reason why I have reviewed this product just now is because I don't like leaving reviews right after I purchase something. Believe me when I tell you that this product is the entire reason why I have suffered through trying to go through her orders to find this so specific product so I can leave a review. I purchased this and I purchased the battery operated weed eater. The weed eater was the one that came with the battery. I have used both of these products for years now and I still have the original products, no work has been done on them whatsoever. This product blows harder then any blower I have ever used in the past which amazes everyone I show it to. I've had a couple people say it's battery operated there's no way that thing is going to blow airworth a crap. Every time they eat their words. I felt horrible when I thought about how well this product worked and I haven't yet to leave a review. Well here is the review and I can finally sleep at night knowing that this review might help people make their decision in buying a good quality product. I feel like calling these people and thanking them for making it. If you are suffering like I was when trying to make the decision of which product to buy just know that this is the one. The battery that came with the other Greenworks weed eater is still working even though the third light doesn't show up for a full charge it still works well like it did when it came out of the package. Look no further ladies and gentlemen this is the best blower I have ever owned!

Better than any corded blower I have ever used. Gets the job done fast
I very rarely review products, but I love the GreenWorks line. First thing I bought was the corded de-thatcher. Made a 20 minute job out of what had been an all day job. Back loved the difference. I have since bought this blower, and the 90V Pro lawnmower, snow blower, string trimmer and leaf blower. All work better than any gasoline or corded model that I have used in the past. And the same battery fits all four tools. MOST IMPORTANT THING - RUN TIME IS INFINITE. It takes less time to charge a battery than to discharge a second battery than it takes to discharge the first - with two batteries and one charger I can run forever. Caveat. While you can always have a fresh battery, I have no idea how long this will run without overheating, or developing some other problem. This blower is lighter than expected given the large battery. I'm 64 and could manage it easily. It has 3 speeds. The lowest speed is very quiet, but don't expect it to do much more than dry leaves on a driveway. The highest speed is noisier, but it's still much quieter than a gas powered unit and comparable to a corded leaf blower - but has much more power than any corded unit I have ever used - and that coupled with the lack of cord management makes the job get done very quickly. Handles wet leaves pretty well.

Instant blower power with convenience and strong battery
This blower is quiet and powerful. Lightweight with the 2amp battery (not great with a bigger battery though) it's a perfect complement to my Greenworks mower and trimmer. I considered the backup model which seems much more substantial but decided this was plenty of blower for my yard work. That was a good decision--this blower does quick work around the house without any hassles. I haven't run into limits on the battery--maybe I need a bigger job to find out if the 2amp battery will really last 45 minutes? One minor issue-it has three power settings for level of blower speed and I don't see any reason to use less than maximum level; I wish this was a mechanical slide switch so I don't have to choose three bars every time I use the blower.

Wonderful blower - no cord - limited battery time
I have been using an electric leaf blower for about 10 years... the power etc. was great, but having to deal with the extension cords made it so that I didn't use it very often and was restricted on how far away from the house I could go by the length of the cord. This blower is very easy to use. We have a Greenworks lawn mower and a Greenworks chainsaw, 3 batteries and 2 chargers. So I bought this blower without a battery or charger. I need all three batteries and both chargers when I'm working in the yard with the blower, because at it's highest power setting, the 2 smaller batteries that I have last about 15 or 20 minutes each. The larger battery lasts longer, of course, but is rather heavy. So, I make sure all batteries are well charged, then rotate through them. I have a large yard and lots of leaves, but having extra batteries and the two charging stations makes it work. I would be very frustrated if I had only one battery and one charger!

Good blower and good price if you use the battery for other greenworks tools.
I purchased this blower to blow light snow from my drive way and it work's quite well for that. I had the battery & charger as I have the 80 volt mower. The 80 volt battery does make the blower heavy but has lots of power and battery last fairly well on high speed.

So good
This is phenomenal! Powerful, light, and does most jobs with easy. Battery power drains quickly on highest setting, but I knew that before I bought! Lower settings are powerful as well. Such a great product!

Slightly odd to hold on
Works great. Battery charge holds more than 2 hours. There is only one holding grip which forces you to hold with one hand and in that position the nozzle looks upwards because of weight of the battery. You have to use the other hand to point the nozzle in right direction and down wards. It is odd becuse there is no other place to grip with the other hand and you are forced to hold the battery box with one and the grip with the other. If there was a mechanism to put a shoulder strap that could have also solved the problem and make it feel less heavy. The biggest advantage is use of same battery, if you also have a greenworks lawn mower which I found a very good machine after a short term use.

Powerful blower wirh adjustable flow
This is a powerfull and easy to use, but you need to have the batteries, if not buy the package. The battery lasts around 15-20 minutes at maximum flow speed . If the lower speed is used and changed to max speed for short time lasts for nore than 30 minutes.
