Husband likes the feel and comfort. Not bulky and gives him a confident feeling. Has not had them long enough to convey any real negatives.

The new brief is contoured in the crotch. Bad idea. The old style were wider all the way through the crotch and, thus, were more absorbent. Leaks get past the leg elastic. We are way overstocked on these as he can only wear one for 1-2 hours without leaks. Better products are the Wellness (astronaut technology) and Tranquillity Overnight.

I have a heart condition that requires me to take medications to go to the bathroom to urinate. I don't always get up during the night on time.

Men, I have used Depend FitFlex & Depend RealFit -- and just about EVERY version of similar products made by various manufacturers. THEY'RE ALL POORLY DESIGNED! To be cynical, I'd suggest the makers of these products know how BADLY they'll perform, but they force users to use 2 or 3 of these costly garments every day, so it's a lucrative business for them & really costly for consumers. My own medical condition produces a bodily fluid that is NOT urine, but emanates from a similar location. Read various users' reports on their experiences with these products -- the overriding complaint is that they all LEAK from around the legs! The Makers mainly use gathered elastic on a stiff paper-like material which is sharp enough to cut into skin, and does so regularly! Their sizing choices don't all make REAL size distinctions, so the "elastic" waist & leg stretches are so weak they literally do NOT stay UP at the waist or legs. That's the real fit problem . The size MAY start out in a proper waist position, but NOTHING will keep it where you want/need it to be -- it drops down in front and/or back -- and don't truly fit a male anatomy if it isn't a perfect "model's" body shape. I'm personally a semi-retired creative product developer/designer, and I am astonished that NONE of these products is designed with a longer leg, similar to a 'boxer' but with the features of an incontinence product, to trap escaping fluid of all types. There's more but you get the gist if you've read this far. We're being suckered by large manufacturers too lazy or cheap to do better with the products they sell. Richard Phillips
