Perfect for creme brûlée and other small deserts

These dishes claim to be 5 inches across, but they are NOT. They are 4 1/2 inches outside measurement. I purchased them because I thought they were the same size as the ones I currently own. (I own 7) They are significantly smaller. Both in diameter and height. They are still ok, since I use them for cat dishes. But, if you are buying them to match what you have purchased someplace else, do not be surprised when they do not match. They do arrive well packed.

This very shallow ramekin should be good for making a Creme Brulee (with a nice large burnt sugar crust on top), or for a meat pie. They could even be used for making individual servings of shepherd's pie or cottage pie.The original set I received had several with manufacturing defects, but the vendor immediately replaced them.Very satisfied with the quick response and quality of the replacement items.

I returned these dishes because they were deep enough for anything useful.These are attractive and like the neutral coloring. Just not useful.

I got these for feeding canned food to my cats, as the siding of these dishes prevents food from ending up on the floor. They are the right size. They could be a little bit thicker to insure they last decades without chipping but so far I haven't had any problems. I was surprised by the big foam piece surrounding the dishes when I received them, I guess that's why there were no damage. Don't know if the dish manufacturer could use something more eco than the foam. I hope I can have it recycled. The dishes are great though. And I can put them in the dishwasher without issue.
