Unlike everyone else, you will not find glued (spliced) joints in our cord. Spliced leather can cause your design to break and will reduce the lifespan of your design. Not only can spliced leather cord break unexpectedly, it also has the tendency to split and/or peel at the joint as you work with the cord. In our larger spools, you may find a knot. This is where the hide ends and a new hide begins. We use knots to join our hides so you know where the join is and can plan accordingly with no sudden, unexpected surprises during the making of your design or afterwards.
