Judee's Gluten Free Heavy Cream Powder - Gluten Free Shelf-Stable Creamer Powder - Dehydrated Heavy Cream for Baking & Whipped Topping - 11 Oz

I see I've purchased this five times now. It has become a staple in my pantry for when I am too lazy to go to the store for JUST cream, if I don't need anything else. I used to use evaporated milk and thought of this powdered heavy cream as more for "emergency supplies," but one time I used it and then more and more when in similar situations. This powdered product definitely tastes more like cream than evaporated milk, which makes it my go-to now. I use it in my very hot coffee, so I have not had any problems with cold drinks. I wouldn't think it would work well there; should probably pre-melt a small amount and then mix with cold drinks if that is the goal. And I use a "frother" for mixing, so I don't have any clumping problems, either. All in all, a really good product to have on hand, even if too pricey for everyday use.

Yummy! I was surprised to find this wonderful powder for my coffee. It is perfect for our home coffee bar and tastes great. No aftertaste was a big factor in giving it 5 stars. It not only looks beautiful but tastes the same. I am elderly and live with my daughter and her husband. I get up in the middle of the night sometimes to make coffee which helps with my pain. I try to be as quiet as possible and this is a great addition to the coffee bar because it save me from having to go to the fridge for cream. Because it is dehydrated, there is no waste and does not go bad. My whole family loves it and it mixes easily with my hand held electric wisk.

Tasty cream powder that I'm using to make "carnivore buns", using a 1.5 cups of this, a tablespoon of baking powder, 3 eggs, and baking in the oven for 15 minutes. A slight butterish taste, gluten free, and low carb. Glad I stumbled across the recipe on YT. Second variety I tried, and it works just as well.

I ordered the four main brands of heavy cream powder I could find, mixed all and did a taste test straight, as well as mixed with my favorite powdered milk (Peak) to create a "half and half". In order from best to worst these were my preference: 1. Judee's Heavy Cream Powder - closest to the mild sweet taste of fresh cream 2. Anthony's Heavy Cream Powder - reminds me of raw grass fed cream and milk I've gotten from a co-op - has a grassy cow-y taste that I am not a fan of, even if it's actually more natural. Once mixed with powdered milk that farm taste is less pronounced and the two come together well enough to create a fair approximation of fresh full cream milk. If I hadn't tried Judee's I'd probably settle for this one, but since Judee's is much better, I dumped it. 3. WillPowder Heavy Cream Powder - my first taste hit me with a strong industrial refrigerant or walk-in freezer taste - if you've ever had desserts from a restaraunt stored too long in their display case so the cream picked up that distinctive refrigerated smell that your own fridge doesn't have, or if you've ever noticed that smell in a restaurant's walk in freezer - that is what this tastes like. I thought maybe after it was mixed and settled overnight or even two days it might disappate, but it did not. The texture is fine but the taste is not. I dumped it. 4. Hoosier Hill Farm Heavy Cream Powder - an odd unpleasant taste. Nothing like cream. Surprising, because I like other Hooier Hill Farm products. Dumped it.

I love being able to cook from my pantry and Judee's Heavy Cream Powder allows me to do that. I absolutely love this product. Having this product on hand I will have cream whenever I want or need it for any recipe. It tastes great and has a long shelf life (couple of years). Companies are changing the way they are packaging their product and the creamer I used to buy for my tea is one of them. The company stopped making the smaller version and so I started using Judee's Heavy Cream Powder in my tea. I've read comments about the powder not dissolving into tea/coffee well but I don't find that to be much of an issue but maybe it depends on how much you are using. I use about a quarter to a half teaspoon in my tea. It doesn't dissolve immediately so sometimes I start with just adding the hot water to the creamer then add my tea other times I let it be and the little clumps absorb into the tea but no matter even if there are little clumps it still tastes great. This is a repeat purchase and I'm so happy with this product that it will be a staple in my pantry always.

This has powdered milk in it and is not only cream solids. It is tasty, but it shouldn't be called what it is. (Like juice and juice drink.)

I stock many Judee's products in my pantry, but none are used as much as this Heavy Cream Powder. I hated having to buy an 8 ounce carton of cream only to use half or less. And lately most stores only carry 16 ounce cartons making for even more waste. Judee's Heavy Cream Powder mixes easily with warm water and works flawlessly in recipes. I can mix up the exact amount called for and eliminate all waste. The quality is excellent, and the price is fair. It's earned a permanent spot in my pantry.
