Unisex-Adult Swim Training Snorkel Bullet Head

I'm a beginner swimmer and have trouble with freestyle, but am relatively good at breaststroke. This snorkel is excellent at helping me practice the freestyle stroke technique in a streamlined position without stopping to as frequently to gasp for air. It is also good for kick board flutter kick drills - you can focus on technique. The snorkel is light and well constructed. The strap adjusts and fits well and the forehead adjustment is intuitive and functional. There is no purge valve at the bottom of this snorkel, which I didn't know about, but I don't think I would need it anyways. The snorkel isn't too restrictive in its air flow - it is just right for challenging me and letting me get enough air. Very satisfied. The "shocking lime" color was on sale for half the price of the other colors when I bought it, which made the selection a no-brainer - but right now, I see the price jumped back up to normal price. I think I would buy it at the full price, but it would just be a bit more painful knowing the deal I got initially!

Looks like a quality piece of kit. But, be warned… the head strap is stupidly hard to adjust. Messed with it for 30 minutes before I broke out the tools. Here’s a tip… with a pair of pliers squeeze the sides of the buckle. It will bend and stay bent until you make your adjustments. Then squeeze it back in shape.

I loved that I was able to concentrate on my swim form without the extra effort of lifting the head out of the water to breathe. This worked very well for me and resulted in a more beneficial workout. At first, water wanted to get into my nose but after 5-10 minutes of getting accustomed to swimming with the snorkel, I had no problem. A lady also doing laps with a snorkel in the lane next to me said she continues to have a problem with that issue. Perhaps the device that pinches the nose would be helpful.

This is my first snorkel just for swimming laps. The diameter of the chamber is smaller than a snorkel used for scuba and snorkeling activities, therefore giving it a built in air flow restriction for building lung capacity. The shape of the tube has a nice hydrodynamic contour to it. The height adjustment is very good too. The headband padding is OK, but not as comfortable as I would like. The materials used throughout seem excellent...I think it will hold up for some time. A bit pricey, but it IS a Speedo. Anyhow, it works great! I'm already getting used to the air flow restriction. It was shifting to one side a bit at first, but a quick headband tension adjustment fixed that. Also, once after pushing off the wall during a flip turn the mouthpiece almost got torn out of my mouth. I did not have the height adjustment set properly at the same time I had the loose head strap. Once you get everything set up this snorkel is just fine! Clearing water out of the tube after a flip turn(total submerge) is easy. No need for the purge valve that are on other snorkels. Not that there's anything wrong with purge valves on snorkels. I think they work great, just not completely necessary. The silicone mouthpiece is very comfortable. I like it, but if I lose it, I might try another brand first, and then come back to this one. I deducted one star for headband padding comfort and price. Overall not too shabby!

I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I’m satisfied. Comfy and easy to use. Go slow when you first get it, it may feel like your not getting enough air but once you get used to it its great.

Wow, this is really a great lap pool snorkel. I have been impressed with the simple light weight construction and ease to use design. The fit and function have been perfect. It really empowers me to focus on fitness instead of breathing.

I started using a snorkel 20 years ago, training for my first sprint Triathlon. My first swim I had a hard time swimming just 25 meters. Long story short I use a snorkel so I can swim up to 3 miles… took 3 years for my fist attempt… swim a minimum of 1 mile and occasionally 2… I’ve only swam 3 miles, with a snorkel, twice. That’s 3 hours in the pool… but the snorkel allows me to work on my form and cardio without swallowing a bunch of water because I’m too tired. This is just like all the snorkels I’ve used, amazing! Thank you for getting it to me so quickly.

As soon as I began to swim laps with it, meaning within the first 10 seconds, water was leaking into the tube. I took it off, emptied it out, and tried again. Same thing. I've been swimming laps with front-facing snorkels for years and this has never happened before. Also, it feels like it's sized for children. I'm an adult man with a normal-sized head and it felt like the distance from the highest adjustment level on the tube, to my mouth, was much too short. Finally, there's no blow hole at the bottom. You're supposed to blow water out of the top of the tube. Good luck. I couldn't get that to happen and I have strong lungs from regular lap swimming with other snorkels. This snorkel is a total disaster. The worst I've ever encountered. I'm planning to return it.

Muy cómodo! Es la primera vez que uso snorkel en mi entrenamiento y es muy cómodo, no se me ha metido el agua y no me lastima ni se me mueve, excelente compra! Además el color hermoso, como en la foto.

عصا التنفس ممتاز و يساعد على دخول كمية كبيرة من الهواء و ثابت جدًا. يعيبه أنه قصير قليلًا و يسمح بدخول الماء عند إمالة الرأس قليلًا للأسفل. عند النفخ بقوة يخرج الماء بسهولة، لكنه مزعج قليلًا عند السباحة الحرة لفترات طويلة. مثبت الرأس مزعج قليلًا و انحناءته لمسك الرأس قاسية قليلًا. يترك أثر بسيط على الجبهة عند نزعه بعد السباحة حتى لفترات قصيرة.

Hace como 6 meses compré uno de otra marca y de precio similar. Ya se le rompió el filtro. Los compañeros de mi hijo de natación compraron este y están muy contentos y no tiene filtro. Ya compramos nosotros también estez pero hubiera sido conveniente comprarlo desde el principio.
