Both my finicky Imperial ShihTzu Dogs accepted the new taste immediately. I have the mommy, 7.5 yrs old and the daughter, Zoey, 5 yrs old, but Zoey was getting a bit too chubby, so I decided to look into a weight management Dryfood. I've been feeding them the Neutra w/chicken adult food for several years now. I've raised Imperial ShihTzu Dogs for 15 yrs, and this Mom & Dau. are my last babies. During all those years and before Neutra, I was searching & changing dog dry food for this finicky type of loving breed. ••• LOL. So, when I changed to this weight management food, even though it's the same brand, I was still worried even though it's the same brand, except it added the salmon and being a weight management food, I was worried that the taste would be so different they wouldn't like it. BUT THEY DID❣️ And they ate it all with no hesitation. ☆••• Zoey finished her meal and when Mommy was finished, Zoey went to her plate and LICKED IT CLEAN, AS USUAL‼️ 😏

I have 4, yes 4, dogs. 1 is VERY overweight and therefore I have to get healthy weight food for them all. 1 is still young with tons of energy so he’s underweight and I feed him whenever he’s hungry since it’s low calorie and 2 are picky so by the time they actually decide to eat the fatty has eaten their food as well as his. Kinda defies the purpose of it but as soon as I put this down all 4 ate instantly!! It’s a win for me!!!

Our dog was a bit overweight and we started him on this formula, now for older and smaller breeds. He has lost some weight and he just absolutely loves the flavor. I had put down three dishes for him with three different brands of dog food and he gravitated towards this one. I then switched the dishes around and he STILL went to this one. So NUTRO ULTRA Adult Weight Management High Protein Natural Small Breed Dry Dog Food it is!

My slightly overweight dogs have been on this a month. No weight loss yet and I’m continuing to monitor them. They do seem hungrier on it so I’m not sure if it makes them fuller initially but then doesn’t last. I’ll continue to keep them on it. Update in another month.

My chia is a small Maltese and since we lost her mom .and brother she suddenly would not eat .chia became ill very fast and very over weight, so they we took her to our vet first she had to have 8 teeth pulled then she had to get fixed but that would might not fix her liver and kidney from another brand! She has started to eat this and has healthy stools without having to give her stuff to go . The damage is done from the other product and she has both kidneys and liver damage and so I am desperate to get the weight off her as to it may help her. She gets a 1/2 cup in day time and a 1/2 cup in evening. She goes through spurts still but you can definitely see the difference but she has started gaining fluid again and now won't eat much but she definitely likes it..the pricey but is worth it for our furbaby.

Nutro is well liked by my fussy chihuahuas! It is a nice small kibble that they love. I love how they eat their meals completely. I have noticed increased energy and shiny coats. The ingredient list appears to be healthier than other brands with lower fat content. I have no negative feedback.
