Aluminum Shock Set Front: 1:10 2wd Cir/Ruk/Torm

These shocks are quite nice with their threaded bodies. I will say however, compared to Proline Big Bores or Traxxas Big Bores they are smaller in diameter and the shafts are smaller as well. The shock itself is very well built also the springs are a bit soft and compress more than my liking.That being said the shockspreform well and are assembled with an air bladder, much like the original Tracxas slash shocks. They are rebuildable however I had a little bit of a hard time finding different parts to rebuild it like shafts, air bladders, rubber o-rings etc.So far there has been no reason to rebuild them since they have been pretty durable but either way theu work great.

They are significantly better than the stock shocks, but a far cry from other aluminum shocks out there. For starters, they have plastic caps and bottoms. Only the body is made of aluminum. Also, make sure you change out the shock oil that they ship with. My fronts were only 3/4 full and the oil that they say is W30 is more like water. I replaced mine with Associated W40 and it makes a HUGE difference.I wouldn't buy these again...at $40 for a set, you're better off buying the Traxxas Big Bore Aluminum shock set

I bought the front and rear metal shocks for my torment. They did not send any upper orings for the front and the rears are now leaking from the bottoms.

These are far superior in quality than the OEM plastic ones for the price.

I have these on several trucks work great.

Exact replacement part for my son's ECX Circuit. Easy to install. Was able to remove the broken piece and install this one fine. It just takes patience. Seems stronger than the original one. Shipped quicker than expected too.
