These are what might be called Heavy Duty eye shades. They are thicker than most since they have a cushion around your eyes so the fabric does not touch your lids whilst you sleep. They are my new favorite shades. Some of my very lightweight previous eye shades were fine at first but seemed to slip away from my eyes in the night, then had some sharp edges which sometimes made them uncomfortable. A few had nose cutouts for people with exceeding small noses.These are not that much heavier, but you should know they are more sophisticated in their design than many of the others. Recommended.Update - It has been several months and I still love them. No sign of wear. All eyeshade headbands stretch a little over time. So many have adjustable Velcro tabs, as do these, to adjust the fit. Also the sides of the straps where they touch the eyeshade part are wide and keep out light from that direction.

I have a real aversion to light when trying to sleep. This mask does the trick and is lightweight to boot! Plus it is not nearly as hot to wear all night as some of the others I have/had. My only observation is about the velcro. When I turn my head (a lot of turning at night) the scratching across my pillow is very interruptive. I truly hate that aspect of most of these masks. However, I can't fault this mask for that as much, as the band has better coverage of the velcro which does help prevent the scratching mostly.Overall it is a great value, has good performance, and great comfort. I'd recommend it.

First this is a light weight mask with good indentations in the eye part of mask to keep it away from your eyes so you can freely open your eyes without feeling the mask like other mask that are all the same thickness across. Does have a small fabric that hangs down a tiny bit to cover the gap at top of nose area (were others sometimes shows a tiny bit of light seeping in) but my problem was with the band around head. I have a small head and the strap it’s quite small enough to stay put. But I made due then a few weeks later the strap became weaker and I ended up sewing it tighter to make do. However the light weight material does make the make very comfortable.

Best I've tried. Nose baffle completely blocks all light. Mesh breathes enough so I don't wakeup with sweaty eyes. Cup could be deeper, eyelashes almost clear but not quite. Strap and Velcro section are wide enough and long enough to be comfortable.

As a third shift worker, I've struggled to find a comfortable sleep mask for the last couple of years, but this mask was the perfect compliment to the blackout curtains we bought a while ago. The cushion around the eyes keeps the mask itself from pressing against your eyes & lashes. It also provides blockage along the strap and at the nose to prevent light from leaking in, while also NOT trapping heat against your face. Even the velcro on the strap is nice, as it overlaps in a way that helps prevent the velcro from sticking to anything else.I will say that I'm concerned the strap might not hold up over time, but that would be more due to the size of my head than the quality of the product, haha.

This eye mask is breathable, comfortable, and keeps out light. The problem, and it's a big problem, is that the straps are made for someone with a basketball for a head. I have a larger than average head, trust me, and the velcro straps were so long that they barely overlapped at all when I fit the mask to my head.I had to bust out the needle and thread to shorten both sides straps, which I did but wish I hadn't had to do that extra effort. I would venture to say there is hardly a human on the planet with a head big enough to have these straps work as intended.

I used this mask while I was recovering from surgery. Unfortunately I had to sleep in the living room where I don’t have blackout curtains. Once this mask was on I couldn’t even tell what time it was. Very comfortable to wear. The fabric is lightweight and soft. I like that you can adjust the straps to fit your head better. Most definitely coming with me when I go on trips!

I purchased this mask because I am working night shift and the house that I am renting does not have blackout curtains....yes, I could have bought black out curtains, but this was much cheaper and easier to use!!I have a sensitive nose bridge and most masks that I try to use put pressure on the bridge and irritate it after only a few minutes of use. This mask is awesome though and the fabric "flap" (for lack of a better word to describe the nose piece), rests very comfortably on the bridge of my nose blocking all light that can seep in around the nose and cheeks. Also, this mask has a small padded riser around the eye area so as you wear the mask, your lashes or eye lids do not touch the mask!!! As a Neurodivergent person, my lashes rubbing against a mask will keep me awake for hours because it is all I can feel and focus on!I highly recommend this mask, especially for anyone working night shift that needs to get some sleep during the daylight hours!!
