I can finally say I found a stand up charger that works great with the Samsung Active 2. Installing the charger that comes with the watch is very easy! The magnet part fits perfectly! It stays on very well. It's made of all rubber. The rubber isn't flimsy, it's very sturdy enough for a night stand or a little table in my living room. I may get another one for my bedroom but the battery on the Active 2 last a long time. I'm telling you that you'll have no issues at all. just keep the back of your watch clean. This is a simple, sturdy, small stand with a non-slip soft base, that is a perfect fit for my nice new Samsung Galaxy Watch, Active 2 44mm dial Model SM-R820. The reason I listed the looong name is that Samsung seems to have compatibility issues between watch models, so I had to waste quite a bit of time finding a stand that claims compatibility with mine. Meanwhile I mislaid my charger, so i had to get a compatible replacement for that also. If you are as much of a klutz as I, here's the Amazon item I bought that worked even better than the original (stronger magnet) "Sankel Compatible for Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 40mm/44mm Charger". Unfortunately it was not listed on Amazon when I searched for it today (11/17/19). Carefully read the description of any accessories you buy! The stand is well designed, with a vertical plate to support the watch at a good visual angle. Simply feed the charger cord from the front through the slot in the plate and press the charger disk into the recess in the stand. Plug in to any available USB-A port. Took less than a minute. There is a recess in the base to stabilize the watch which, in concert with the plate plus the grip of the watch and charger magnets gives your watch a secure, comfy spot to relax and recover. Another very useful Amazon purchase. My wife uses this stand to charge her phone overnight on her nightstand and so far, no complaints. I marked it down from five stars to four only because the opening for the Samsung charger doesn't have a lip and more depth to hold the charger fully within the opening. As a result, the top of the charger protrudes SLIGHTLY from this stand. This is just an aesthetic issue, but (especially because the charger has the little recess around its perimeter), it would be nice for it to be fully enclosed.

I have a velcro band on my Samsung Active 2 which doesn't allow the watch and charger to sit on a flat surface without rolling or tipping. Every time I bumped the watch or the surface it was sitting on, the charger would shift and lose the connection with the watch. Very frustrating! Then I found this ingenious little gadget. It cradles the watch perfectly and allows it to charge without tipping or shifting. No, it doesn't come with the charger - you have to add yours to it - but it's one of the handiest things I've bought in quite a while. It's small, durable, packable, and does exactly what I need for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

First off, I don't write many reviews. Second, I am a 25+/yr Computer Technician. I cannot for the life of me figure out why my watch REFUSES to charge when sat on this ingenious charger. Yes, the charger is inserted into the cradle correctly, Yes, it starts charging when I place the watch down, but hours later I notice my watch continuously discharge. I have tested this cradle out so much/many times as I usually just chuck it into my computer wires/extras box in abandonment each time I try to convince myself that there couldn't be anything wrong with it. I am always WRONG i thinking this. Each time I re-setup this device for my watch (A 10 second process), it always FAILS to charge my watch. So, Here I sit again after re-testing this item one last time before throwing it away and yet again - My watch won't charge on this. My ultimate findings have me believing that the charger fit's so snugly into this rubber device, that the watch does not make full contact with the charger (and it's a DARN shame) as it was/is something that is about perfect size wise/minimalist & Simple to use.

Works well. I didn't know how the charger would fit into it, but its a rubber piece and it slides right in. Great for the fact that my bands are not buckle type, so the stock charger is a pain. The stand makes this like the old charger style and works great with non buckle type bands. It fits my 41mm watch with a case on it. Also fits his 45mm watch. Not sure about a case on that one tho, as it doesn't have one. Overall, very happy!

This Stand for Samsung Galaxy Watch worked okay for basic day to day use, holding the watch securely enough in place while charging without it sliding off or falling over. The design itself is simple and functional, nothing fancy, but it gets the core job done of keeping your watch upright and charging cable organized on a nightstand or desk. Where it falls short is build quality, the materials feel a bit flimsy and lightweight, not the sturdiest construction for something meant to sit out and hold a device day after day. It doesn't feel like it would hold up well to any real wear and tear, and I found myself being a bit more careful with it than I'd like to be with a simple accessory like this. It's not bad enough to avoid, and for the price it's a reasonable basic option, but don't go in expecting a premium or particularly durable stand. If you just need something functional and don't mind a lighter, less sturdy feel, this will get the job done, just manage your expectations on build quality.

I am satisfied with this purchase. It's nice that the charger is upright and not flat on a surface. No issues and have had it for a while now.

I find the stand useful as night stand for the watch. When charging, you're able to face it up instead of flat on surface, so you can still look at the time while charging. Good to have..
