2 Lengths
Like the fact it comes in 2 lengths and has the elastic band to secure it to my reel. The longer ones go over my 7’6” - 8’0” rods and the shorter one fit my 6’6” - 7’0” rods.

Must have for a boat! Great product.
If you keep your rods in a rod locker or rod holder in your boat (or even in your garage) you really should consider getting these. Slip them over the rod and your eyes are protected from getting tangled in one another or getting snagged on other things in the boat or garage. This set comes with 5 covers for shorter rods and 5 for longer rods. With 10 in the pack, this is much more economical than the 5$-8$ you would spend at Academy or Bass Pro for rod socks of the same quality.I have them on rods from 5'5" to 8 foot. On the longer rods, the cover has an elastic loop at the end you can pull over the reel handle to keep the sock in place. For spinning rods with large eyes, you will have to work the cover over the last eye, but it can be done. These won't work for the monster surf rods with giant eyes, but for nearly every other conceivable rod, theses are worth every penny of the asking price. If you save the eyes on just one rod, the entire pack will have paid for itself in the aggravation of replacing an eye or the expense of replacing the rod. I have 8 rods in my rod locker on a Tracker 175, and with the rod socks, none of them get tangled on the way in or out of the storage locker.

Great Rod Protection and Organization
Great Rod covers. Love that this set has two different sizes to fit most any length, short or long. I use them for my 5’4” ultralight, my 7’ bass rig, and all others in between. The four different colors help to keep them organized too. I was scepticle at first but these really do help keep the lines and rods from getting tangled up together when storing, carrying many at one time, and when traveling in the car. The loop is a great addition to help keep them in place too, just hook it around the reel handle. The mesh design is also very nice and helps to let wet rods dry out even when the cover is on. I highly recommend these for any fisherman who wants any easy way to keep their rigs protected and tangle free when not in use.

Nice
I think these work well, and are a good product. However I thought it very stupid to make the shorter 5 the exact same color as the longer 5. They give you two identical of each color, one short and one long. I use both 6'6 and 7' rods. When I'm at the lake and am ready to put the covers back on, I haven't any idea what length they are because they all curl up when not on the rod. And since very windy at times, can't really keep the sizes separate. If one of the sizes could be solid color these would have got 5 stars. But now, I will have to buy a short set with solid colors for quick/easy packing up.

Not quite right
These rod sleeves seemed to be a great buy until I put my rods in them. They are OK for bait casting rods, somewhat short, but they cover the rod up to the reel. The spinning rods are a problem, the sleeves just about don't go over the rod guides. I forced them to fit but it was a fight and I don't like pulling that hard over the guides. I will keep them and see if they stretch out but will buy replacements from a store where I can look at them first.

Not for saltwater spinning rods
I was so excited when these arrived to use them for my 10, 11, and 12 foot MH 2-pc surf rods, but alas, they don’t stretch wide enough to fit over the largest eye once the poles are broken down and folded in half for transporting. So, if you only have fresh water or some sort of super lightweight saltwater rods, these should work swell. Otherwise, fuhgettaboutit! These are going back.

Great rod socks!
I was fed up with spending to much time trying to retrieve a rod from my boat’s rod locker so I ordered these. I all can say is WOW what a difference these socks made. Easy to to put on and remove on all my bait caster and spinning rods. Also the keep all my rods protected and organized. In fact I ordered a second set I like them so much. One thing is that the longer socks are only for 7’6” rods or longer.

Works, will not fit the largest ring on some spinning rods.
They work well, if they fit. I have a couple of spinning rods that they will not go over the last guide. I wish they were just a 1/4” larger in diameter. The material is good and the guides to not pop out easily like some of the others I have seen. You can shorten these easily, which I did to fit my ultralights. Just slide the tube down to where you want, cut the excess with scissors leaving just a 1/4” extra past the tube, then use a lighter to melt the end and press it to a piece of metal (like the flat side of scissors) to make it neat
