I love tongs for all my grilling and for a lot of other cooking.I look for straightforward tongs with the scalloped metal ends, no silicone or other coatings and a decent spring.I find that most of my tongs wear out at the hinge rivet and expect these will too.They are also not great for the heavier items like a brisket.

If you're looking for heavy duty tongs pass these...btw, heavy duty tongs won't outlast these...heavy duty tongs have heavier steel and heavier coiled spring making them capable of turning a large heavy piece of meat and to use them for any amount of time requires strong hands and forearms....these are utility tongs...they have a quality coiled spring and are made of good material...I've cooked tons...professionally...these are the tongs to use on the line so you don't get hand fatigue...they grip food well, are durable, and are easy...very easy to use...the locks do not get in the way...at all...I've read a few reviews saying they do and I can't figure out how they're using the tongs for the lock to be a bother...I'm replacing all my heavy-duty tongs (4) and my utility tongs (4) with 6 of these because of the locks...it'll make keeping them in a drawer less of a scramble... for whatever it's worth I recommend these.

Well made but smaller than I anticipated

This is my second set of these . The price was not too bad . They are STURDY and work well... They are so handy one set was not enough.... as well as saves not having them to use while cooking and having to wash them between dishwasher loads.

Bring back nostalgia feelings from the delicious Hot Pot restaurant with the same cheap but not too cheap tongs. Featuring the classic riffle pattern around the rim. These are the classic tongs from the 50’s and 60’s. Simple design. Classic features: Press in and the ring falls to open the tongs. Press in again and let the ring fall in the other direction to seal the tongs for convenient storage.

Bought as a gift. The recipient likes them. They are indeed flimsy as mentioned in other reviews, but the thin metal makes them very agile in serving mode, which is the purpose intended. Cannot be washed in a dishwasher. There are two different metals used to construct the tongs, and the dishwasher detergent would corrode the stainless steel through electrolysis, accelerated by the high temperature. Wash by hand.

These tongs suck, they are flimsy and sharp. The part that grabs will litterally bend under any pressure when picking up food. The metal is so thin and sharp you will cut yourself while cleaning them. Not worth the money
