Only text, No Calls!
I bought this SIM card before I left for Australia because I wanted it to be ready to use when I got there. When I received it, I followed the instructions and emailed the company to have it activated. I received no response and the SIM card was NOT activated on my arrival to Australia. I had to call the company when I got there and the first thing they told me was to email them which I promptly told them I had already done! Finally, after providing them some more info they were able to activate the card. However I could not call the one person I bought this SIM card to call (the one person I knew in Australia). I could text but not call. So do yourself a favor and buy a cheap prepaid phone or SIM when you get there.

SAME OLE SAME OLE AKA SCAMMERS
We were in Copenhagen, Denmark this past Spring for a visit and bought multiple Lebara mobile phone cards to use there. Each card cost us Kr 49 and the store told us each would provide 30 minutes of air time. We never got more than 6-8 minutes of calls off any Lebara card. We stopped using them because we realized they were scam phone cards. Recently I contacted Lebara to ask if they would refund us our monies because the products were useless. Here are their replies in their own words...verbatim, hopefully you and potential investors and market financiers would see them for what they really are, same ole same ole SCAMMERS!ALTERNATIVELY, WE BOUGHT A PHONE CARD FROM 7-Eleven and it worked immediately providing us with the expected minutes!NOTE: this reply was after Lebara repeatedly gave me stories about how their mobile cards does really give me 30 minutes of time until this last communication, the excuses were many, the shadiness of the company can be seen in how the 'representative' shares the same address as the 'store vendor' and how their answers gave no useful information although long and cumbersome THAT IS until they found out I was in the States and realized they did not have to be afraid of me, I am just another 'dumb' tourist:Sorry to hear that you want to take such drastic steps, however as I mentioned to you earlier that our terms and condition clearly highlights what we are able to do with our Lebara SIM card. You mentioned below that you were informed that you can use for 30 minutes with your Lebara SIM card and I think you might have misunderstood the person or the seller didn't explain it to your understanding. If you buy a Lebara SIM card and you call another Lebara number then you are able to talk for 30 minutes for free, the only thing that you pay is the start rate charge which would be DKK 0,99 for each call that you make, so it makes perfect sense that if you call a few times and you are being charged the start rate of DKK 0,99 then you balance on your account will be deducted.Hence as the product is not default or damaged on the time of purchasing the Lebara SIM cards, the is no way we are able to refund you the remaining SIM cards as they are all in perfect working condition, however as I mentioned the might have been the communication error and for that we are truly sorry. As I mentioned below if you are still not satisfied with the outcome of this email you are more than welcome to send us a written complaint to our office in Denmark, stating you case. However I hope now that my email has cleared the confusion about your 30 minute. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our customer service on 50101010 or email us back.Mvh/RegardsJabu W.
