Magic Makers Magic Color Stick Hotrod

Solid quality for what it is. This is such a great effect which requires fairly minimal practice. Most customers took anywhere from an hour of practice up to a week, but it was rare that they didn't get it down pat. To me something this slim and cool is a must have for anyone who likes magic.The stickers look like they are put on very well and won't be coming off at the edges anytime soon (just don't keep in a pocket with keys or other sharp things). The 6 color side is slightly variant from the Fan-tas-stick, which is cool if you want to have different colors on the front six. I did order two, and they both came with red on the solid side, which is fine if you only want a spare, but bad if you wanted to have a second stick to perform the trick more than once to really freak people out. If you elect to order two it is probably worth e-mailing seller to see if they even sell additional colors (fulfilled by amazon so this may not be an option, but end of the day it's so inexpensive it can't hurt to buy extras and just give away to friends as gifts if you get matching colors).If you can get two colors it essentially makes the stick inspectable without anyone figuring out how you did it. One stick can be figured out by some, but you make the same stick change into two totally different colors and no one but a magician who knows the trick will get it.Very happy with this purchase.

This is similar to the classic “Hot Rod” magic trick that many Magicians already know. This is a great version of that and it is worth getting.If you have not learned this before, the teaching video that comes with this trick will teach you the basics.If you practice and get the moves down, you will fool people with this one and you will have fun doing it.I like the colors on this stick because they sparkle and when you change the stick to the spectators color choice, the color really pops out at them, giving the spectator a surprise reaction.Well done Magic Makers!

Great little magic but for 5 bucks maybe a little better quality cause it is just a piece of plastic with to Long stickers on it, that are already wanting to peel off. Especially when the trick involves using the side a lot would have like to see little better quality.

This is a great product for a quick trick to help add texture and something fun to anyone's magic routine. I chose this particular product over other traditional jewel products due to the reflective stickers. The reflectiveness gives more visibility so that more people can see the magic from further away. The size and shape is perfect for the hand and can easily fit in your pocket. Another great feature is the shape and ease of performing the "magic move". The sticker adhesiveness is holding up well so far. One of my fears was that the sticker would peel off from constantly putting and pulling from my pocket. Again, it is holding up quite well! I actually purchased two of these because at the end of the routine I split it into two magic sticks. Excellent product, excellent value and excellent price.

GREAT PIECE OF MAGIC, LIKE THE REGULAR HOT ROD I ONLY GAVE IT 4 BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DOING HOT ROD FOR OVER 30 YEARS. BUT THIS ROD IS WIDER AND WILL TAKE SOME PRATICE, I THOUGT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ANY PRATICE.

Before purchasing this product, you have to understand that this is a $3 toy. All it is is a plastic stick with a sticker on each side. The stick doesn't literally change color you have to convince the audience it does (hence "magic"). It's not hard at all to do, just practice in a mirror. Once you learn how to do it, it's fun to wow people with it. Only downfall to this trick in particular is the secret becomes apparent if show the trick multiple times to the same person/group. However for $3 it's a great easy magic trick anyone can pick up (even kids).

This is just a piece of plastic with a strip color stickers on it, worth about 25 cents. I had this toy when I was a kid, and wanted to share with my kids, it was made much better and had gems stone on it; that made the trick look and feel better.
