Excellent Value.
I just ordered my second one of these. The first one lasted about 10 months here on the brutal west coast of Florida, where we've had record rainfall this season. For those who seem to be not satisfied with the lifespan of this cover, you must be new to this stuff. The cost here is about 40 whole dollars with free shipping to boot, not $200 to $300. I've had at least a dozen car covers over the years for various vehicles, some costing more than 4 times this amount, and this is a great value. So, it costed me less than $5 a month and now it's starting to tear on the top. I think I got my money's worth. The elastic on the corners is the strongest of any covers I've owned. The adjustable Velcro straps are an added bonus. We've had 40 -50 mph wind gusts during the pouring rain and this cover has not moved an inch, and it's still holding strong. The car in question, that I've been saying I'm going to sell for at least 10 years, sits on a second driveway exposed to all rainfall and about half sun per day. Rain, Florida sun, over and over. Also, you do not want a "waterproof" cover, if there is such a thing. Moisture trapped underneath a cover will ruin a paint job. So the car gets wet and a little dirty. Wash and dry it. The sun causes the most damage to a vehicle, followed by bird droppings, tree sap, etc. This cover takes care of those issues. Best bang for the buck I've come across.

Purchased for 1971 Cutlass
*** UPDATE July 2015 *** I bought this in Oct of 2013 and it's now pretty much failed. It has developed a large tear in the center of it, over the windshield. I emailed the manufacturer asking about warranty claims, but they have not responded to me. I guess I'm not surprised. I thought maybe with the Rain-X name behind it, the cover would be of better quality or at least have better customer service than a brand I'd never heard of. I was probably naïve in thinking so. It survived for 2 winters and one summer, so if you buy one, plan accordingly because you will be replacing it. Good thing these aren't expensive, or I'd be really disappointed.Bought this for a 71 Cutlass convertible and it fit very nicely. All 4 corners have Velcro straps to help snug it up and there's a strap that can optionally be run underneath the center of the car from side to side. It looks good and the fabric seems to be at least equal to other covers that run up to $100 or so. This car sits outside all the time, so I'll wait and see how well this cover holds up over time. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with this cover do far.

Rain X Car Cover
This is an excellent priced (indoor only) car cover. It works very well for nuisance dust, etc.It is important to remember this is an indoor only product, it is not meant to get wet or it will deteriorate rapidly. That is why outdoor car covers are so expensive.I have 2 cars I keep these covers on, sometimes leaving one of them outside during the day with the cover in place. As long as they do not get wet they should last a long time.I do like the way the corners have the velcro straps to help hold the cover in place. This is not a custom fit cover, finding out the correct size for your car can be a bit of a challenge. The large size I had to get for my 2006 Cobalt SS (due to the large wing on the back) and it is just a bit too big but works ok.I bought an extra large for my 1980 Buick Sport Coupe and it fits perfect.

perfect fit for my 2001 cadillac deville Covers all of ...
perfect fit for my 2001 cadillac deville Covers all of the hubcaps and the length is perfect It's used outside and is on the car approx 4 or 5 days out of a week It does all that I need it to do---rain resistant and withstands the HOT Florida sun. This cover is relatively inexpensive and allows me financially to replace it once a year. It's also lightweight and easy to handle. It's not washable and by replacing it once a year any accumulated dirt from my car isn't an issue. At the end of it's year, it does show signs of deterioration by producing some blue dust---I assume from the hot Florida sun. It is still water resistant at that time. I'm very pleased with this product. Also easy to put on and take off. I attach the front corners, take the attached back tie strap and walk to the back with it holding the strap toward the center and attach the back corners. Removing is just a matter of rolling it from back to front, allowing the front to be visible for future covering.

Works Great For the Price
The reason I bought this cover is to protect my nicer vehicle through the winter to prevent all kinds of nasty rock chips that litter our roads for traction control if I was to drive it. I'm covering a 98' Acura Integra, the cover size recommended is LARGE for this make and model, seems a little big but easily cinched down with the supplied Velcro straps on each corner. I never used the 'trunk' strap, it seems rather useless to me. I still gave it five stars because universal covers aren't going to fit perfect, and for the price it seems to be working well. There's a center strap the goes across under the car to hold it tight into place. The cover has been on my car for about three weeks now. After heavy rains the water is still beading up on all surfaces. The final test will be when I remove the cover this spring and the results of my expectations for years of use. Like I said for the price you can't beat it in my opinion. I would recommend. The same cover is $69 at Wal-Mart. When I bought this cover from Amazon I saved over 30%, not bad at all.
