I ordered this in mid December of 2025 and got it soon after, so I have been using this for awhile now. I work as a truck driver. And let me tell you, this is one of my most important items. It has worked fantastic for me. I don't like using public restrooms. I will use them when I need to, and I appreciate them being there when I need it. But I like to avoid them if I can. I use this toilet every day, yes for both uses, you know what I mean. It has worked excellent. It is heavy when I have to take out the waste tank to dump it when it's full. It's a workout. But I'm young enough to handle it still so it's not that big a deal to me. Now the reader that is supposed to tell you how full it is hasn't been reliable. Some people might take a star off for that. I'm not going to because opening the valve to eyeball how full it is has worked just find for me so I don't really need the reader so it's not that important to me. A warning. When you open the valve leading into the waste tank, I highly recommend keeping the lid closed when you do. Because sometimes it might spit when opened. I learned this the hard way. And keep the lid closed when opening the valve to flush. So no nasty droplets get out. Now another thing. The bowl tends to stink very bad with use. But that is easy to work around by using toilet cleaners. I've used scrubbing bubbles gel you stick in the bowl which worked great, eliminating the bad smell. And I've also tried putting liquid solutions in the fresh water tank that you use for things like an rv toilet. Both worked great individually so easy fix. I also use the handle on the fresh water tank to ratchet strap the toilet so it doesn't fall over while I'm driving. No big deal. So yes, my experience is great besides a few minor things that either aren't a big deal to me like the reader for how full it is, have easy solutions to solve like the smell, or are just part of the learning process of using one of these flushing camping toilets. Besides those things, I have otherwise loved mine so far. Every time I dump it, I always give a thorough rinse out, filling it with a little water after dumping, shaking it real good, then dumping again. I repeat this a few times until the water coming out of it runs clear. Worth it so the waste tank doesn't smell over time. And every time I dump it and refill a little water in there to use again, I use one porta pak in the waste tank.

Recommend not putting tp in here so it doesn't stick in the bottom of the tank but there was no smell it was secure easy to empty and lasted me a months worth of pee. We had to number 2 once in it and that worked fine too. The flushing mechanism was great and has a water tank on top to wet flush as well as use the bidet which is just a spray nozzle. Recommend flushing with lid closed so you don't get splash back from the pressure. Best travel toilet worth every penny. I used this in my van and it didn't budge

I have had a Coleman portable toilet in my camper for years pretty much only for overnight use, since we do have access to a bathhouse at the places where we camp. That said, there were times that this smaller capacity toilet will fill up and without any way of knowing how full it was, needless to say it was a disaster waiting to happen. Well, that happened one night when my DIL used it, flushed, and it overflowed. Well, that was the first and last time for that. I immediately started looking for a larger capacity portable toilet. This Alcour fit the bill and I could not be happier that it actually has a water-level indicator gauge so that you are able to know when/if dumping is required! Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I love, too, that it sits higher than the Coleman did, making is much easier to use. Update; June 2025-I purchased this toilet in May 2024. After my recent camping trip, I emptied the toilet only to discover that the water-level indicator is not working correctly. So, while we thought that the toilet was full it, indeed, was not. I am going to try and address this with the manufacturer. Wrote to the manufacturer almost three weeks ago (6/27/2025) and have heard nothing back from them. Buyer beware.

Great, if you're an oompa loompa. The product is well-made and sturdy though. Skip if you're tall, have mobility issues, or just bad knees.

So far I like this portable camping toilet. I was recently diagnosed with heart failure and my asthma is acting up on me again and I needed a toilet so in the middle of the night I'm not climbing up and down my stairs. I'm surprised at the sturdiness, it holds my weight of 290 lbs. I was also surprised about the height of this camping toilet it is only about a few inches short of a regular house toilet but it's usable, hey a saying in my family is "beggars can't be choosy" and I'm not choosy, I'm grateful. No leakage detected so far and that's good because it's in my old bathroom upstairs that my landlord took out several years before I moved in and there is no central air in this old house. So far I haven't noticed any smells coming from the toilet especially with the heat wave going through Ohio right now and that's also a plus. This toilet is way worth it's value.

I bought this potty for our family's pontoon boat, since several family members developed conditions that require immediate potty access. Our pontoon boat has a small dressing room and this potty fits in there perfectly, and has provided 3 summers of much needed relief when spending hours out on the lake. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs a portable toilet for camping or any outdoor activity where quick access isn't avaliable. It's really a game changer.

We used this toilet for about 3 days dry camping and it was perfect. There is zero smell in or around the toilet after use. I used an RV additive in the waste tank to ensure the waste is broken down and did not smell. You can find this additive at Walmart in the camping/RV section. I also followed someone else’s advice and left a small amount of water above the valve after use to create another seal to contain odors afters use. Emptying was easy. I recommend filling waste tank with water and swishing and dumping repeatedly until everything is flushed especially before storing or transport in your vehicle. I also put a little additive in the tank with a splash of water for storage to help with anything I may have missed. All in all I look forward to not using public toilets ever again 👍 and this is a life saver if you have kids and travel during potty training.
