I needed something more flexible for positioning my ring lights when filming with my 4K cameras. After some searching, I decided a tripod ball head would be the simplest and most effective solution. That’s when I came across the UTEBIT Mini Ball Head Tripod Mount with Removable 1/4" Hot Shoe. The product looked solid in the listing, and the positive reviews gave me confidence, so I went for the 2-pack. With Prime delivery, they arrived the very next day—always a bonus. Once connected to my ring lights, I was immediately impressed. The ball heads feel sturdy thanks to their mostly metal construction, and they give me the flexibility I was looking for. Each mount has a 1/4" thread that connects perfectly to my adapters, allowing me to raise and centre my cameras within the ring lights for much better coverage. Despite their compact size (each weighing just over 90 grams), they’re surprisingly robust. The adjustment screws are easy to access, even when mounted, and once locked in place the ball head holds firm. Stability is excellent—even with the weight of my 4K cameras, everything feels secure and steady. For under £8, this 2-pack is fantastic value. These mounts are well-made, reliable, and do exactly what they’re designed to do. If you need more flexibility in your lighting or camera setup, I’d highly recommend them.

Not had the chance to use these properly yet but they feel well made and look great, nice heavy strong metal and easy to use. I had a bit of a test indoors and the size was ok but could do with being a big larger imo great for attaching my phone to my camera so I can record as I’m snapping photos.

This is an ok product, I like the different attachment options it has like the cold-shoe mount adapter. I use this for my lighting mainly, I don't trust it with my Zhiyun X100(?), but works fine with little LED panels such as my Aputure MC's.

I bought these mini ball head mounts so that I could have a little more versatility in mounting my light(s) or light & monitor onto my camera or gimbal. I'm pleased to say they do that easily. The mount is mostly metal - weighing in at 94g on my scales - with plastic used on the 1/4" mount base which is rubberised for grip. The brand name is printed on the body in white paint. (this is the 2nd UTEBIT device I have purchased, I'm pleased with both) The butterfly nut on the side locks the device securely when it is positioned to one's liking. Just ensure it is reasonably tight... In my opinion they are great value, but will admit to being put off by the 'named' brands charging a (often massive) premium - I'm just a hobby photographer, it doesn't earn me any money, so unknown and effective works very well for me!

Needed a tripod head to connect to a phone holder for flexible angles on a microphone boom arm - essentially to hold my phone at an angle over my desk. Quite simply, it's perfect. Really well made, nice smart colour. Has a 1/4" adaptor to screw onto a standard tripod / desk arm, and then on the head itself, screwing onto standard devices. In terms of grip, it locks perfectly into position - easy to secure. The flexible ball head allows for that finer rotational tweak once you're locked in place. A lot of these adaptors have the challenge of staying in place - this does and you don't need to overly tighten the grip, either.

The are only ok for the most basic of uses and on a light weight load. The issue is that the horizontal pan and the ball joint are controlled by the same lever and as soon as you release to pan, the ball joint flops with whatever is on it. The reverse is true also. The friction grip on the ball joint is such that you have to screw it down very hard to stop the camera (e.g.) flopping. Then there is really no in-between fully locked down and totally loose. I faffed about with them for two long and should have returned them.

I guess I didn't look at the measurements, because I was expecting something small and cheap to hold up the least weighty of my led lights. Something I could pop on top of my camera comfortably. Instead this thing is a beefy boy. Very durable, very high quality, with a standard quarter 20 screwmount on top and on bottom with a tiny hotshoe adapter thrown in for convenience. Much more bang for my buck than I thought. Not that light weight though, but a solid metal construction that I personally think will last me a lifetime.

Great little device. Allows you to mount Webcams that have a tripod hole. You'll probable need a 3/8" adapter to attach Webcams to a mic stand, but the adapters are peanuts. This mount allows you rotate or place the camera in any direction. I use it for streaming musical video tutorials, and it's an indispensable piece of gear. Well built too. Very solid.

Realizzate in lega di alluminio, sono leggere ma allo stesso tempo estremamente robuste, supportando senza problemi il mio flash e la fotocamera DSLR, entrambi sotto il limite di carico di 2,5 kg. La rotazione panoramica a 360° e l'inclinazione fino a 90° offrono una versatilità incredibile durante le riprese. Mi è stato molto comodo utilizzare queste teste per catturare angolazioni difficili durante uno shooting all'aperto. La manopola di bloccaggio è facile da usare e mantiene tutto perfettamente stabile, anche su superfici non perfettamente piane. Un altro punto a favore è la compatibilità: grazie alla vite standard da 1/4" e all'adattatore hot shoe incluso, ho potuto montarle sia sul mio treppiede che su un supporto per luci. La possibilità di cambiare configurazione rapidamente è stata davvero utile in diverse situazioni di ripresa. Infine, le dimensioni compatte e il peso ridotto (solo 85 grammi ciascuna) le rendono facili da trasportare, un grande vantaggio per chi, come me, si sposta spesso per sessioni fotografiche. In sintesi, questo set si distingue per qualità, versatilità e praticità. Se cercate un accessorio affidabile e ben progettato per la vostra attrezzatura fotografica, consiglio vivamente queste teste a sfera!
