Lasting Coffee tumbler is the PERFECT COFFEE TUMBLER I have been searching high and low for. I have tried so many other coffee tumblers but none fits my criteria perfectly. - 16 oz - not too big, not too small - fits well in my small hands - fits well in car cup holders - made of clean stainless steel without the plastic foil wraps (that decoration usually comes off in the dishwasher) - mouth piece is leak proof and still can be opened with one hand - no complicated contraption for the mouth piece - easy to clean, including under rubber seal where yucky coffee residue builds up - can withstand minor drops without leakingThis tumbler fits all of my above criteria! I bought my second one soon after the first. The last criteria of withstanding drops is where I abuse it quite a bit. Also sometimes the lid is screwed on and vacuumed so tightly that to unscrew the lid, I hook my thumb on the mouth piece cover. After about 4 months and dropping the mug numerous times, the mouth piece cover started having a hairline crack. I asked the company about getting a replacement lid and they shipped it promptly. Another perfectly good mug saved from the landfill; all it takes is a new lid! Customer service was very easy to work with and even left me a handwritten note in the package.This mug is so easy to clean with a bottle brush. The rubber ring that creates the vacuum seal on the lid can be taken off easily. Some might see this as a drawback but I see it as the perfect way to clean the coffee residue build up under there. I only do so once a week so the rubber does not stretch out too much. Then carefully seat the ring back neatly in position for a tight vacuum when the lid is screwed on. I have had "state of the art" mugs that starts to smell moldy or sprays coffee every time you open the mouth piece to drink. This one doesn't do any of that. Overall, I highly recommend this Lasting Coffee tumbler above any other fancy high cost ones out there!P.S. I'm ordering a third one to stockpile in case it goes out of stock down the road.

Product update: I changed my previous 5-star rating to a 2-star one because I discovered a fundamental engineering flaw with this mug. That is, when you put hot liquid such as coffee in it and then put it in a closed container like a lunchbox or a briefcase, the heat from the enclosure will force the peg open or even blow the entire lid off, as happened to me just today.The nature of my job in a big city means that sometimes I can drive to job sites, but other times it makes more sense to take public transportation. When I drive, I can simply put the travel mug in my car’s drink holder. No problem. But when I commute publicly, I need to put the mug in either my insulated lunch bag if I’m taking a lunch or my briefcase if I’m not.A couple of weeks back, I arrived at work to find there was coffee all over my lunch. I looked and saw that the peg that seals the coffee had popped out, and so I assumed that it had been my fault for not checking carefully. The next day, I fastened everything in tightly and put the mug in my briefcase, and the same thing happened again—only this time, it got coffee on some pretty important documents.This morning, I thought that it might be wise to put a cellophane bag around the mug before I put it in my briefcase in case this happened again. I fastened everything tightly and headed out, and before I got down to the bottom of the stairs, I heard a strange “thumph” sound from inside my briefcase. This time, the added heat from the cellophane bag led to the entire lid blowing right off! Fortunately, the bag caught about 98% of the coffee and very little went into my briefcase. But man, if I hadn’t checked, my briefcase and its entire contents would have been ruined.So yeah, still a good mug for keeping drinks warm or cold. But beware putting it into any kind of sealed container, or you may suffer the same fate as me.Here is my original review:My wife gave me a portable coffee mug earlier this year that did a fantastic job of keeping my coffee warm for a long time, but the problem was that if the seal wasn't absolutely closed properly (which was tricky to do), it would leak.So, once I was hooked on the idea of having one of these, I came to Amazon looking for another one, and found my beloved Lasting Coffee Travel Mug. Like my previous model, it can keep coffee hot for a long, long time, but it is completely leakproof. I was showing it off to a coffee-loving friend recently, and he was amazed when I turned it upside-down, while full of coffee, and nothing came out.My only issue with it is the pin that goes into the hole. It sometimes moves about, and so I have to set it back in place. But this is a minor glitch in an otherwise fantastic product that I am really glad I bought.

Overall, this is a very nice travel mug for the price. It is not the best travel mug I have used, but it is definitely the best one I have used in that price range. It has decent insulation, while not being bulky. It doesn't seem to keep drinks hot for quite as long as some of my higher priced mugs, but it is a great one for daily use on my morning commute, and I use another one for long road trips that is a little larger, and keeps things hot longer. The slim base is fine for most cupholders, though in my wife's Kia, it is a very tight fit, though those cupholders are incredibly tiny. The lid seals tightly, no leaks even when inverted. It also has a nice, sleek look to it. My only real critique is I am not a fan of the sort of flocked suede logo. I don't think it looks particularly nice against the smooth, clean, sleek cup, and I don't like the feel of it when my finger hits it. Feels like there's something stuck to my cup. Certainly not a deal breaker though. Final conclusion, if you want a nice cup for daily use for a good price, the Lasting Coffee travel mug is a fine choice. I have several of them now, and my wife and I use them on nearly a daily basis.

My wife has arthritis in her hands. She really likes this travel mug because the base is narrower than another she had purchased; therefore it is easier to hold onto than the one with the wider base. The rubber bottom makes it fairly quiet when setting it down. She had an old Keurig travel mug, which had the narrower base, but it could no longer be purchased. The Lasting Coffee travel mug is a really good replacement!
