Fun and Educational!
“The Strawberry Garden” is a wonderful book for children, and it's even fun to read to them! I personally loved the sounds that the scarecrow made, and my little nephew always got so excited when I made the noises. By the end of the book he memorized the noises I was making and he made them along with me. He's only 2 so he's not able to read yet, but he loved the pictures and was able to follow along with the story by looking at the pictures and asking questions. The illustrations in a children's book are obviously of utmost importance, as the children reading the book are always interested in what is going on in the pictures. I must say that I was extremely impressed with the illustrative style and I thoroughly enjoyed them just as much as my nephew. If you're looking for a great addition to your children's books, “The Strawberry Garden” is definitely it! Fun and educational!

Such a treat
I was searching for a story book, something that is a bit out of the way of usual stories that we read to our kids, and eventually, a friend of mine suggested this book. Since it deals with a scarecrow protecting a field of strawberries, and strawberries being my boy’s favorite fruit, it became an instant hit in our household. The drawings are absolutely adorable: at first glance, simplistic, but so rich in color and filled with details, which my boy and I utilize in many different ways, like learning about all the animals that are visible in the book, or all the utensils that the scarecrow is decorated with. Overall, what I wanted to say was that for us, the book offers so much more than a simple story with pictures. It is educational, as well as amusing, which is what counts.

Not about Strawberries
Books like this are especially difficult to rate. It's ok for what it is, but if you're teaching or homeschooling, or looking for a book about strawberries, this is Not one to purchase. The book is about scarecrows and their use in keeping birds away from your garden.

A great find
What happens to a poor, sweet, defenseless garden of delicious and ripe strawberries, when everyone around them wants to take a bit at them? A scarecrow, built by the skillful hands of a sweet grandpa, comes to their rescue, of course! I and my kids absolutely love it when the scarecrow manages to scare away all the possible intruders, making all that noise. The events in the story are really something that a child (even us grownups) can relate to and have fun while reading. At first, I found it a bit strange that a cat would want strawberries, but surprise, surprise, my kids found this perfectly plausible and had no issues with it! It really taught me a lesson: we should all suspend our disbelief, if only when reading children stories. A great find, recommended warmly.

A Wonderful Children's Story
This is a fun story about a scarecrow protecting a field of strawberries. It's probably one of the best children's books I've purchased for my grandkids so far.The quality of the illustrations is truly superb. I loved everything about this book and so did my grandkids. It's very obvious that this author loves doing what she does! It's imaginative and very well presented. Absolutely deserves 5 Stars! There's also a nice free gift with this book which I think is a lovely and thoughtful touch by the author. This would make an excellent addition to any child's digital library. It's probably best suited for children aged 2-4 years. I'd also recommend it for middle-aged kids like me!

Fantastic book - wonderful find!
As the mother of a six-year-old just learning how to read, I'm always on the lookout for new reading material for us to experience together. This book was everything I look for in a book for my child and then some. The artwork was gorgeous: bright and vivid and oh-so-lovely. The rhyming lyrical and clever, effectively keeping my daughter's attention (a true test of a good story in and of itself). But most of all I loved the allegorical themes of the storytelling and the lessons to be garnered therein."The Strawberry Garden" is a great find - a gem! I definitely recommend it!

Strawberry Munchies
Great adorable book for a young child. If I had little ones around they’d probably ask me to read it over and over. It’s well illustrated and colors are bright. Made want to run to the store as I was salivating the memory of the strawberry.

A Cute Book To Read To Children
I'm always on the lookout for children's books and this one caught my eye. This bedtime story book is a good mix of little tales, and definitely appeals to small children. As an adult I found it cute, and on par with what you'd expect from the classics.I loved the stories, illustrations, and themes. It's well worth the investment, and am glad to have found such a unique, and fitting book for kids. If you have children, or simply enjoy the simpler stories of children's literature, this is one you can't miss. I loved it.
