I have an older Jeep Cherokee XJ and have had tons of issues finding the proper cell phone mount. This one definitely works the best. The dash is not flat anywhere, the vents too old, brittle, floppy and loose to use for mounting. I broke out one of the vent fins trying to make a different holder work. This one with the CD slot mount is awesome! I just pushed that mount into the CD slot, tightened the screw underneath, and it is in there solidly and reliably. It is sturdy and easy to tilt left, right, or up and down to adjust the view using the ball mount behind the device. NOTE: If you still use your CD player and worry about your vents being right for the mounting, then maybe this one isn’t for you. I installed Bluetooth in my Jeep so all my music and hands free audio comes from my cell phone nowadays. I love this mount and highly recommend it. Solid, well made, and seems to be quite durable. I have a iPhone 14 Pro in a military grade protective case and it fits just fine. The release button works great and expands quickly when pressed. The rubbery edges inside the holder work extremely well too.

Just purchased my 2nd one, Had the first once just 3 months shy of 2 years before the side clamp just cracked from daily use. But it was still durable enough to last all this time through regular use, definitely worth it for the price. Will definitely purchase again in the future, Given that it works best for my cars set up. Very simple to set up, and as long as you make sure its put in tightly, It'll hold very well.

Love the mount, has been exactly what I was looking for. In the Southern heat my biggest problem is these suction cup mounts Melting and leaving goop dripping down my windshield interior. I picked this mount up recently specifically for the CD player mount option and my only complaint, that will require a follow up review, is that despite me tightening it as much as possible by hand (I might try and get a few more clicks with some channel locks) it seems to still be able to shift in the CD slot. I did push it back in after noticing it slightly coming out, and tightened it up. I'm worried that excessive Road vibrations will cause it to fall out, ur again, I've adjusted it, and will continue to monitor for a follow up review. Other than previously mentioned above, it holds my Note20 with an OtterBox Defender case solidly and with no worry of letting the phone go. Would recommend to someone looking for an alternative mount, especially since it gives you the CD player mount AND a vent clip mount to choose from. Mount is being used in a 2003 Toyota 4Runner for reference.

This comes with a holder and two methods to attach the holder to your vehicle: a vent clip and a cd player mount. For my car, the CD player mount positions my phone where it blocks my radio controls so I use the vent clip mount. The CD player mount was very stable and I wouldn't hesitate to use it if the controls of my radio were positioned differently or if I had controls on my steering wheel too. The vent clip works very well. I've been using it for nearly three months now. Other vent clips mounts became loose and worthless after a few weeks, so I am impressed. It has knobs that allow you to get it really tight. My phone does shake at times. It is not super rock solid, though I am not sure if the movement is coming from vents or this unit. But...this far surpasses any phone mount I've used before and I've been using mobile phones since 1994. I will be ordering another one for our other car as well. Edit: My vent clip broke when I was tightening it. Not sure if it was my fault or not, but I reached out to the company and they sent me a new vent clip at no charge. And they got it to me pretty quickly, within a couple of days. So not only am I happy with the product, I love the company selling it and won't hesitate to purchase from them again!

The previous phone holder I had uses a suction cup to attach itself to the windshield which tends to fall from time to time and the windshield is kinda too far for me to be able to see things clearly, so I really needed a different holder that is both stable and closer to me. I bought this last week after some research, and am pretty happy with it. It was put in the car the day it arrived, both air vent and CD slot were tested, it handles the job very well either way, and it does not block my view and is out of way of everything. It looks like the whole mount was made of very good quality plastic and some metal parts, I believe it will last for a long time. It is very easy to adjust to any angle and the phone stays in the holder very securely and snuggly. I have several phones of different sizes, and the mount holds well each of them, and it is so simple to mount or dismount the phone - just press a button on the side of the holder, and squeeze the two sides of it. The installation instruction was written pretty clear too. I am very happy with my purchase and will update later.

This is great with one important caveat- if you have a newer Iphone (i have 16) there is a button on the lower right - Camera control button- that engages the camera- the side arm that holds the phone pushes in directly on that button when securing it.

I went through five or six phone holders for my car and all of them had issues except this one! The VICSEED holder has great quality, smart design, stays in place, doesn't shake or vibrate, and allows me to put it in the location with best visibility while driving. When it’s mounted in my CD player, I do need to flip it up to see my rear camera but that doesn’t happen often, and it’s very quick and easy to do. I have had the holder for a few months now and only positive feedback! Great purchase!
