Yep. I've been very happy with it.  I started using it after doing a bunch of research to find a protein that was NSF certified (some protein powders have tested positive for heavy metal contamination); didn't have any weird flavors, additives or artificial sweeteners; and was packaged by the manufacturer from domestic ingredients (lots of protein powders are rebranded by third parties and sourced as commodities from other countries with lax regulations).
It checks all the right boxes for me and mixes well without leaving an aftertaste, even in a cheap blender.

Is this protein considered better for weight loss or weight gain?

As far as I know, no protein drink is to be used as a supplement for weight loss or gain, but only as as protein replacement before or after a workout.  Although I can't work out, I'm a vegetarian and use it occasionally as a supplement to my diet for protein.  After reviewing dozens,  I chose this one because it has the fewest additives, mixes the easiest (although none of them are easy to mix - I use a shaker with a stainless steel ball inside) - and I like this particular chocolate flavor the best.  It also satisfies my sweet tooth!

What's the difference between the unflavored elite and the unflavored renew?

Each product uses whey protein that goes through a different filtration process. Elite protein goes through an ion-exchange process that creates a purer protein, while Renew protein goes through a cold-filtration process that results a lower sodium count than Elite.
