After having a fabric shower liner for years and using a plastic one intermittently, as I prefer the fabric over stiff plastic, I searched for a fabric liner and found this one. It is of good quality fabric, weighted nicely with good magnets, and fits the standard tub/shower installation. Upon first washing it in my front loader machine, I removed the liner only to have a puddle of water come out with it. I was not aware that the TPU coating was actually like a plastic sheen that does not allow for water to penetrate it at all (the old one I had did although it worked fine in the shower as a liner, not a curtain). I placed it back in the machine to do a drain/spin cycle to finish getting the rest of the water out of the liner. Unfortunately, the TPU lined side had soap residue on it still when I hung it to dry in my laundry room on a rod. Having said all of the above about washing it in the laundry machine, I have yet to use it in the shower. I will do so today. I expect that it will function as designed. The problem with the old fabric liner that I had was that after so many uses in the shower it would start to smell musty. I am wondering if the TPU coating will mitigate the musty smell for a longer period of time as it seems to prevent water from absorbing into the fabric.

This shower liner is exactly what I was looking for. It's soft like material and not stiff like plastic, but it keeps my shower curtain dry, which is what I need. I do recommend this liner for showering.

Good shower curtain at a good price. Nice weight, but not too heavy. Guess we'll see how well it does against mold and mildew.

J'ai essayé d'autres doublures de rideaux de douche en tissu mais aucune n'était 100% imperméable. Le tissu est très beau, lisse et souple et on voit que c'est de la qualité.

La lumière passe bien au travers, il est hydrofuge et facile d'entretien. J'adore!

Pleased with the shower curtain but would have been helpful to state clearly that shower hooks are provided.

So different from other shower curtains that were thin and blew all over the place. Very happy with this purchase.
