I love this yoga mat; the colors are beautiful on both sides, it's nice and thick, and a very grippy surface so there's no slipping!

Beautiful mat! It’s long and thick and the colors are so vibrant! I don’t have the largest space to do my Pilates but this mat works just fine in that space!

Usually I'll give a product time to fall apart or explode unexpectedly, but this thing is just quality through and through. While unwrapping, I'm telling myself I hope I like it because the mat looks awesome even rolled up - the colors are just as vibrant in person. The texture is well above what I had been used to on the standard, generic yoga mat. The raised bumps resemble that of a rope weave and feel great. The mat is thinner than my old one but is denser and more resilient. Less give but not uncomfortably so. And many items reviewed on Amazon will mention the product's unexpected smell. This is my second mat from Gaiam. I bought my first in 2022. Unfortunately it was stolen at the Yoga class, however after this happened I went back on Amazon and there were such great reviews fir the Manduka 6mm mat and even though it was pricey I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. The 6mm was super heavy to carry. I took it to Yoga class and it did NOT feel like a 6 mm mat. I was not cushy at all! I went right back to my trusted Gaiam 6 mm mat and purchased another one. What a difference between the two different brands and both 6 mm! Mind you I am in my 50’s and taking care of my joints are a priority! The only thing I will say about the Gaiam mats is when you first get them, there is a chemical smell to them but I am assuming this is from the design on the mat?!? At any rate, this goes away once you clean your mat and over time. Manduka had no chemical smell. But the Gaiam chemical smell is a very small con and goes away. You can’t beat the comfort and it’s $38 vs Manduka over $100! It’s a no brainer for me! I took one star off due to the chemical smell as it does take at least one week to get rid of!!!

I love this mat! I left my mat at a hot yoga studio that I dont visit often. But I needed a new one anyway since I felt my mat was too thin. This mat is perfect. The right amount of thickness and it is soft so it can roll up easy. You also dont feel the floor when kneeling. The perfect amount of support. I use it for hot yoga and it stays in place and has great drip.

Excellent quality

The Gaiam yoga mat really meets expectations. It’s clear that the brand knows what they are doing, as the quality feels reliable from the start. It is very comfortable to use, doesn’t slip during practice, and is not too heavy, which makes it easy to carry and handle. It provides everything you need for a regular yoga session. The design is also a big plus, they have really nice patterns, which makes the mat more enjoyable to use. Overall, it’s a solid, comfortable yoga mat that does exactly what it’s supposed to do, with no issues so far.

Love my new Gaiam! It's the second one I get and I love them. They are affordable, anti-slip and beautiful. I have tried several brands and I don't think I will shop elsewhere now.
