Pricey, but then I'm on a fixed income. Aside from that, as a popcorn lover, oh boy, I like this oil! I've popped two batches thus far and I like to make enough for leftovers and days later when I grab my bowl, I can taste the butter on the popped corn. The other thing I like is that it doesn't saturate the popcorn with butter. For me, it's just right. I will bite the financial bullet and repurchase this product. It's worth the spent money.

It was very good, but overpriced as I did the taste test with another cheaper brand and no one could tell the difference. Other brand was Golden Barrel

Oh so good for popcorn. Better than movie theaters!

I have been buying this product now for about 3 years now. I like this particular name brand because it's not just coconut oil, it's coconut oil with an authentic movie theater flavor. I believe it's carotene that they use that gives it the distinctive yellow color and movie theater flavor. I've seen a couple of comments about this product which people should understand. Coconut oil is quite hard when it's at room temperature. Unlike most oils which are liquid at room temperature. Secondly, coconut oil does melt fairly quickly when above room temperature. However the product will melt unevenly when in the jar and the temperature is, let's say, a really hot summer day. So what you'll get is partial melting inside the jar. This is perfectly normal for this product. Some people comment that it looks gross, but this is exactly what coconut oil does. If you're looking for a coconut oil that gives your popcorn that theater yellow color with that wonderful theater taste, I highly recommend this product. Also, don't forget your theater popcorn salt as well. It tends to make the popcorn even more yellow and very visually pleasing as well as extremely yummy to eat. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Wabash Valley Farms Real Theater Coconut Popping Oil because I missed that rich, buttery popcorn flavor from the theater—and this delivers! The oil has a warm golden hue and a familiar buttery aroma. It pops evenly in my popcorn popper, giving each kernel a glossy finish. It's now a staple for our Friday movie nights. Pro: Authentic movie-theater flavor – brings that classic taste into your kitchen Con: Seasoning not included – pure popping oil, I like to add melted butter and white cheddar popcorn seasoning.

This stuff is amazing. I love buttery popcorn, and this stuff definitely does the trick. It is expensive but, you do not need much when making a batch. For personal home use, just enough to cover the bottom of the pot is good enough. However, the oil does not work on its own. You still need some sort of butter to make the flavor come out (which is why they add butter at the movie theater). Before I used this stuff, regular butter would just stick to individual popcorn pieces, and I would just get popcorn with clumps of butter, and others with nothing. What this stuff seems to do is act like an oil to evenly distribute butter to all the kernels. Before I used this oil, I would put so much butter on the popcorn to get flavor. With this oil, I find I use about 75% less butter, and get more flavor. But that's the kicker - you need butter or some sort of butter flavor added after it pops to get the flavor. I will never make popcorn without this oil ever again, and will definitely be buying more!

This is the best oil for popping corn! Stay home and skip the theatre!
