It seems to work okay but the smells awful. I should return it but I hate to go through the trouble for a $20 fan; so I will run it til it dies and will post back when it does. I hope the smell goes away soon; I hope it wont start a fire. I normally buy Lasko at Walmart without issues...they just die after a few years. When I was young, our fans could be oiled and they lasted... UPDATE- 6/11/21- The smell went away in a few days and the fans are doing well. UPDATE- 6/12/25 - 4 years and I changed one star to FIVE. I noticed the fan was stopping quickly when I would shut it off; I took off the grate and found I could drip some 3-IN-ONE oil onto the bearings. It worked, the blades moved freely again. I drilled a hole in the center of the plastic grate so I don't have to remove the grate to oil it. To oil the other side, I still have to remove the blades and drip oil down the shaft.

Best fan yet!! I bought for my husband because the Walmart ones don’t last long and the legs either fall off or break. It is louder than a normal fan but that’s probably because it puts out twice the air and it’s powerful! Would rather spend my money on this fan or a Walmart fan!!

I suppose this is just inflation but I bought 3 of these fans for 34.95 in April 2020. One for each room. It is May 2023 and one of the fans (probably the most used in the living room) finally DIED. The other two are still working fine. I came back to see the price jumped! I doubt I would buy multiples again at this price but I liked the fact the fans were black and not white or grey and they do the job they are meant for. I run my fans hard and for hours at a time if not a day or two in a row. Yes I have AC but like circulation in my unit and the white noise to sleep is bonus.

I was looking for a box fan for noise at night. (I am a very light sleeper.) They are making more of them quiet. I read the reviews and gave it a try. Just the right amount of noise, and nice strong air flow. Very happy customer!! Will be ordering another one!

This fan worked well while it lasted. Then it died 6 weeks after I received it. The fan has a fuse that blew and I replaced it. This did not resolve the problem. Apparently the fuse was insufficient to protect the fan from common AC fluctuations. NOTE: This was not the result of a significant power surge, such as you would use a surge protector for. I have other devices on the same circuit that are far more sensitive and they have had no issues. This problem is the result of bad design and very low quality parts. There is a reason why good fans and similar devices do not use fuses. They do not need them as their components can handle the normal fluctuations that are always present in AC current. Well made devices that are sensitive enough to be harmed by those fluctuations employ a power supply. (Wall wort or brick on the power cord.) Or they integrate power conditioning into the unit. This fan would require a UPS battery backup to be reliable. Surge protectors do not help in these situations. They are designed to protect your devices from high energy spikes that result from situations such as blown transformers or lightning strikes. Bottom line: This fan is way over priced and completely unreliable. I will probably go back to Lasko as they have always had really good fans in the past.

Two years in now. Bought this on 2024, I am getting another for my brother. My old one still works just fine. Noise level is loud that isolate you from the outside workd which is something I love but many others would hate that.

The fan works like a champ ! I would recommend this product it’s worth the price that was spent to keep cool.

My old box fan has started rattling after years of use so decided to replace it. Wasn't familiar with the brand but decided to take a shot at it after reading the reviews. Not disappointed. Moves lots of air. The metal frame and plastic grills feel sturdy. The noise level is about typical for box fans. Perfect for white noise, not what you want if you want silence. The cord is a little shorter than my old one but that's no big deal. Like the black color. Looks sleek. Came pre-assembled except for the feet that snap in so set up is little or none. Packaging was thorough to prevent damage in transit. As long as it lasts a couple years at least, I'd say it's well worth the money

Very fragile rubbish. DO NOT BUY. I ordered 1 of these already & had to send it back because it was delivered damaged. It was completely destroyed. It was very difficult to return because of its size. I spent a lot of money just going to multiple return points in a Taxi through multiple towns & they all refused to take it off my hands. I ordered a replacement & that also came damaged. Now I have to wait for 2 refunds on 2 box fans. I’m going to phone Amazon to make a formal complaint & to get them to arrange a pickup from the delivery address because I can’t return it because ALL DROP OFF POINTS WILL REFUSE TO RETURN IT TO AMAZON.

This fan looks sturdy, easy to assemble, and produce high airflow. I bought it for two purposes: air circulation in my room and white noise for sleeping. The first fan I ordered came with a broken piece in the box, apparently during transportation. Amazon was quick at providing me assistance ans sending a replacement. I didn't get charged because I sent the broken one back. The air flow is good and I rarely use it pass the first speed setting. I have added some filters to protect it from hair, I have had hair clog my previous box fans as I use them on a carpeted floor. The sound level in the video is of the first speed. Even though, it's sounds loud it's a soft noise and that's perfect for me as I use it as a both air circulation and noise machine at night. Would definitely recommend this brand.

No reply when asked about the plug, tried 3 different plug adapters im in the UK and cant use the thing. I threw the box away so cant get my money back and no reply from the seller..
